Review from a 100% Mexican. This place is seriously awesome! I keep making the trek from Tooele just for the sheer greatness it offers. The services are top-notch, and the vibe is so chill and relaxing. It's the kind of place you want to kick back and forget the world for a bit.

One thing that totally sold me is the peaceful atmosphere – no blaring music, no distracting TVs. It's like your own little haven. And can we talk about the prices? Affordable is an understatement. You get quality food without burning a hole in your pocket.

Now, let's get to the nitty-gritty – the food. The fish tacos are my absolute weakness; they're like a flavor explosion in your mouth. And don't even get me started on the smothered Mexi-Fries – they're basically a party in your plate.

But here's the secret sauce – Giovannia our star waitress. This girl is a gem. Always with a friendly smile, and her kindness is unmatched. It's like having a buddy at the restaurant who just happens to bring you amazing food.

I have scoured the area looking for the best floutas, and they have it. All their dishes have gone out perfectly. The service is quick. I believe it's family owned. The jukebox doesn't work, though. Their shredded beef is the stuff dreams are made of.

First time visit to Chubby’s and everything my party ordered was delicious🙄: chicken enchiladas with beans and rice, Navajo taco, bean and cheese nachos and flan. Delicious food and the staff was friendly, professional and courteous.

Quaint little neighborhood restaurant. Very friendly and attentive servers. Reasonable pricing. A variety of meal choices on the menu. The food was served hot & very tasty!

Had lunch here today. I was impressed with the service. It was fast. The food was tasty. The building itself was compact but seemed to be well laid out. I loved the art on the walls. It seemed to be quiet and quaint. I would definitely come back. I enjoyed myself and I recommend.

Guac was smaller than I thought but very tasty. Not premixed or anything of that sort. Fajitas were super hot and good portions. The chorizo and eggs were my favorite they were extremely flavorful. 5/5

I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed with anything I have eaten from Chubby’s. We chose the chubby changa platters and some fried ice cream. This was ordered through Door Dash. Everything was packaged well and was still warm when it arrived. The platters come with rice and beans and a bit of guacamole on the side. I love how crispy the tortilla is on the chubby changas. My only complaint would be that they don’t contain enough meat.

This is an incredibly charming little restaurant in Rose Park. The staff is incredibly nice, the food is delicious, and they have horchata at the fountain machine. What else do I need to say?

One of the best places if not the best for homestyle home cooked Mexican food Love the owner always treated like family whenever I come in. Salsas made fresh daily Worth every penny my go-to even if I'm driving across the county. GO CHUBBY'S

Delicious food! The flavors were all on point and the Chile relleno plate is one of the best I've tried! The service was prompt and very attentive. Great food for the money!

I think this is one of the best kept secrets of the Rose Park / Fairpark area. They have great Mexican food and great prices. I’ve enjoyed everything that I’ve ordered from here. They have a great chili verde and my wife loves the nachos. The tamales are good too. I think they could do a little better with the salsa that they bring as an appetizer but it wouldn’t stop me from going there. If you’re feeling adventurous, wash your meal down with a 1/2 Diet Coke and 1/2 Red Cream Soda mixture.

Always a great Mexican place to eat. Not a yuppie hangout. Just your standard, reliable Mexican fare.

Chubby's is one of my local favorites. If I'm in the area and feel like Mexican this is one of my 2 go tos.
The chips and salsa is average but everything else that I've tried is great. All of their meats are full of flavor and very tender. Today I went with a smothered shreded beef burrito. It was exellent.

Oh my goodness!! I am so impressed with this food! We used to go to La Fountain in Millcreek all the time while we lived in that area and have been looking for a new regular Mexican Restaurant to go to. We have found it.

Chubby's is so good. I got the large combination platter and man, it is a lot of food! I also got a chile relleno because I try them everywhere I go. It was all good. It was very comparable to La Fountain and all of those kinds of restaurants, but there is one thing that stood out to me more than anything else. The enchiladas!! My husband is an enchilada connoisseur and he loved their shredded beef enchiladas with flour tortillas. And they were huge! On my combo platter, there was a cheese enchilada with a corn tortilla. That was the best cheese enchilada I have ever had. Next time I come here, and there will be a next time, I will just order the cheese enchiladas because they were seriously that good!

Beans and rice were fabulous. We ordered asada fries, chicken enchiladas and a Chubbychanga. The enchilada sauce was good. We loved their guacamole. Salsa was a bit too spicy for me. Will come back!

I love this place! Always is nice and clean. The food is delicious and the fri ice cream is to die for ❤❤❤❤

This is a place I have been going to since I was a kid they have great food and service that keeps me coming back time after time Ihave not had bad treatment ever I would recommend it to anyone as much as I possibly can this place is awesome and you should give it a try
