Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I really enjoyed the ice cream from there. Riley was our server at the window and she was so very very nice. They should give that girl a raise. You should try and keep her cause she was great. She was looked like training someone as well and still was so great. Thank you Riley for the good ice cream. We will be back for a larger serving next time.

Today we decided to try Freddy's for lunch.
I had the fish sandwich 🥪 and shoestring fries, one kiddo had a chicken sandwich and the other had a burger 🍔.

The interior is styled like a old fashioned burger joint that the "The Fonz" from Happy Days would have enjoyed.

I think it just needs a music 🎶 jukebox on every tabletop tied to a central sound system. So each song would play after the next one to get the vibe they are going for.

The 🍟 fries were great. I would recommend getting a large since they go fast.

The fish 🐟 sandwich 🥪 was large and filling too.
Overall had a good time 😃 with my kids while they were on break.

I am glad we got to try Freddy's and will have to come back for the 🍨 ice cream 🍦 next time. Yummy!

Very busy! So nice to see everyone excited to check out the new place! Delicious onion rings, fries and chicken. Plenty of employees keeping up with carry out, dine in and drive thru orders. Wishing them success in this new location!

Good burger. We got the jalapeño pepper jack hamburger and the spicy chicken sandwich. Location here is decent. Place was pretty clean. Wait was about 5-10 minutes inside.

People should not see the bad side of Freddys. Once we pulled up to the window to wait and receive our food, the cashier was friendly and made small talk. Once we received our food we liked it and ate it all. 5 stars for the food, service, and atmosphere.

Food is pretty decent. Didn't know what to expect since it looked like a Steak N Shake knock off bit it's not. Pretzel burger is the bomb!

The food was decent, prices were reasonable but It reminds me of steak & shake just bigger portions. With the long lines and opening week Be sure to check your food before leaving I had to hand my burger back three times due to it not being made right.

Food and service was good. We definitely needed a burger joint like this one in our area. We will definitely be back to try the ice cream. :)

Really surprised to see the low reviews. We showed up right before close to try this place for the first time and the service was friendly, fast, and burger was very good! Would definitely recommend and come back.

Love this place so much. Not only is the vintage decor perfect, the simple menu (mostly burgers) is spot on! The burgers are like they used to be - not those huge drippy things of today. The fries are thin shoestring and oh so good!!!!

My husband got the triple steakburger and cheese fries, and I had chili fries. We both had root beer and shared an ice cream. EVERYTHING was FANTASTIC. Definitely coming back.

All the food was AMAZING. Burgers are smash burger type, but not dried out. Nice and juicy but not just all oil. Buns are great. Shoestring fries.are great also, not all hard and burnt and TRY THEIR FRY SAUCE! Dad approved!

You can't please everyone in this world. Some think in 5 secs you get your food right away. We ain't in that future yet. But here's my 2 cents. First time I tried the burgers...WAS AMAZING. The second time. Still amazing. I love this burger joint. WAAAY better then Steak and Shake. And let me tell you the Manager Cherish was probably the most kindest manager I ever met compare to other restaurants. And her staff back there were super cool 😎 never had an issue since I've been eating here. Keep up the good work! Definitely will dine back here again.

Excellent Service and Food! I’ve been a Freddy’s fan since I first had it in Mattoon IL 8 years ago. I’ve been coming to this location since they opened and they have come a long way, you can tell the restaurant is finally under some good management, there’s been a change in atmosphere between staff and management lately. Working in the food industry it’s nice to see a team effort and all working together, manager (tall Hispanic with hand brace) was bouncing around keeping the kitchen running smoothly and interacting with guests. I hope they keep this up!

5 stars for my food but Rod earned more than that. I forgot to ask for sauces and had to go inside. You know how you can tell when workers aren’t excited to see you walking in, this was not my experience with Rod. He was really kind and approachable. Grabbed my sauces and he overall demeanor almost made me ask for his name to leave a good review…over sauce. But then due to the flimsy nature of the cups I ended up spilling my entire drink all over my sandwich. I brought it in and Rod met me half way hoping they didn’t do anything wrong but I explained the situation. He didn’t flinch he said “I got you” and remade my sandwich for me without any hesitation. I hope this company recognizes great employees like Rod.

Had the brownie concrete and the double steak burger. The cheese curds are the best around. Definitely worth the trip!

Visited here for the first time just to try their shakes, and to glance at their menu. Our chocolate shakes were delicious, drive thru staff was very pleasant. We will be going back to try the food. Really looking forward to trying the chili cheese dogs!

I had an amazing experience with the server Aja and everyone else working the evening of 8/6/23. Everyone was so kind. Aja was extremely accommodating and helpful with choosing menu items. It was my second time coming and her along with the other members made it such an enjoyable experience! Will definitely be back, food was delicious as well and affordable.
