Good food, prices, service and people. I’ve never had anything there I didn’t like. I live close and my wife and I come here probably more than any other place for breakfast.

I like the country fried steak (corn beef hash) and the wife usually gets their waffles or pancakes.

This place looks kind of old on the outside, inside though is like a 50s/60s diner with nice tables, clean and fresh paint. Service was great and fast. Great food!

Great little family run diner. Mr Hopper is the best short order cook in the county, imho. Quick service, nicely prepared food.

Today we had delicious cups of vegetable soup for lunch.

And Mr. Pibb, which is not quite Dr. Pepper, but definitely better than Coke or Pepsi to this Dr. Pepper fan.😀

Great service, really good breakfast, Ryan the chef even came out and asked about the food. Seriously good Rye toast, thicker than most, and best tasting. Peggy the host was great!

If you are looking for a home town feeling with great comfort food this is it. I hadnt been there in years, my dad and I used to go a lot and my grandparents before him did too, the food was still great. My son and I sat at a ready table and food was quick and delicious. He said its his favorite breakfast place now!

The food here is outstanding!!!!!!!! Love the atmosphere and our waitress was so sweet and helpful. A big plus was meeting the owner. He's a stand up dude. You won't regret this place unless you don't go.

A great place for breakfast. Probably good for other things too but I'm more of a breakfast person myself. Friendly staff, clean dining area, great service too.

We stopped by here on our way home from Benton harbor. I'm so glad we did! I swear they have someone's grandma cooking in the kitchen. The food was SO GOOD! I had the #3 (1/2 French toast order with 2 eggs (scrambled), and bacon). I also added a banana nut pancake. My husband had the country fried steak with 2 sunny side up eggs, country potatoes, and biscuits. He added a side of sausage gravy. If he could have licked his plate without people looking at him weird he would have. We will without a doubt be back again if ever in the neighborhood, or even if we're within 2 hours away. If you are looking for a great hidden gem that will fill your belly and not empty your wallet, this is it!
They were also very friendly even though we were in our OSU gear too! 🤣
The atmosphere was definitely very family oriented and gave a small community feel even to an out of towner. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!

A great little diner, with a fantastic breakfast! I enjoyed the Texas omelette and buttermilk, blueberry pancakes made from scratch! For those who don’t eat pork, they substitute veggie meat upon request. The service is great! Very friendly

Service is speedy and kind.
Rye toast is very good. Hash browns are above average. The sausage left me nonplussed. The sausage gravy is underseasoned. The value is pretty good; only mildly overpriced. I look forward to coming back and trying more!

Hoppers is all American baby!! If you’re looking for amazing breakfast food, fantastic service, and a homely atmosphere - look no further. Hoppers has it all. I highly recommend any of their omelets and the Hopper Burger will fill the emptiness you’ve been feeling your entire life. They keep your cup of coffee hot!

Don’t just take my word for it, keep an open mind and come on in to find out for yourself!

What a great place to eat... it was busy when we arrived around 10:00am on a Saturday. After being and eating there I understand why... it was awesome! The gravy is yummy 😋
