This trip was AMAZING! The Boat Crew was great and the Park Ranger was fun and knowledgeable. We had the opportunity to see a bald eagle, osprey, seal, and porpoises! I would highly recommend if you are visiting Bar Harbor/Acadia.

Smaller, intimate cruise - and we had a really lovely day out on the water. Winston, our tour guide, was great - very engaging and well informed. Great boat captain. We saw a good deal of wild and sea life, enjoyed the visit to the island and the narration of the sights! Would recommend for those looking for less touristy/big ship tour.

Excellent way to see the coastline of Maine. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour which is narrated by a naturalist or park ranger. Great way to catch a glimpse of a variety of sea birds, seals and porpoise. Our stop on Little Cranberry was great! So pleased to have this time to go to the museum and a few shops. Excellent day out!!!

This is the cruise to take! Narrator by an Acadia Park Ranger, the trip was scenic, informational, relaxing, and exciting all at the same time. Great overview of the local area, and the stop on Little Cranberry Island was fantastic. It felt like a bargain for $37 per person.

Beautiful day on the water. Park Ranger Jonny did a great job explaining the sites and history of Acadia NP! Great experience on the water and stop over on Cranberry Island. 5 stars!

We took a cruise to the Cranberry islands with the Princess and had a very nice time with the retired park ranger as our guide.

We stopped at Little Cranberry for about 30 mins and had time to walk around and visit. On its return we cruised along the fjord before getting back to the port.

The ticket was $35 per adult. And the cruise last about 2h30 with the stop.

This was an excellent excursion for only $37 per person. We took the 9:30 tour so we had an Acadia Park Ranger as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and answered any and all questions. Our trip was a little foggy but we were able to get close enough to the points of interest that our tour guide wanted to point out; seeing them wasn't a problem though the pictures didn't turn out as good as I'd hoped.

We especially enjoyed the 45 minute stop at Little Cranberry Island (Islesford). The museum is SO informative about the people who live on the island seasonally and year round. The mosquitoes were pretty bad when we were there so keep moving.

And I may or may not have supported the local crafts-person on Little Cranberry who makes jewelry by purchasing a pair of beautiful earrings right there at the dock.

Cheers!

Well done tour partnered with NPS. Morning trip had two park rangers on board, giving a well done presentation of the wildlife and area. trip was comfortable, prompt, and aptly timed. Would recommend to anyone looking for a morning excursion and experiencing some more of Acadia NP.

The entire process (purchasing tickets, picking up tickets, boarding, concluding) was seamless. Even with a blanket of fog, the crew made sure we had a wonderful time - learning and seeing a lot! The seal sighting, feeding/nesting ospreys observations, excursion to Little Cranberry Island, and gentle coasting through the water is something I won’t soon forget.

On the morning trip, an Acadia park ranger was our guide. We saw seals, harbor dolphins, comorants, blue herons and ospreys. The guide told us about the history of the region. It was a great trip.

Great trip! The woman narrating the 2 hours was full of stories and really interesting facts about the wildlife in the area, houses of the rich and/or famous, and how to catch a 🦞, among many other things.
There's a little restroom on the boat but try to go before you board. The sink doesn't work but there's hand sanitizer.
I think we got the most bang for our buck with this cruise rather than finding something similar in bar harbor. The crew was A+++!

We booked this cruise as the last one of our trip to Maine and it was by far the best! Our guide was personable and had so much information to share. I loved the map and handouts she passed around throughout the cruise. We saw seals, birds, nests, islands, lighthouses and more. We even saw a Bald Eagle while we were waiting in the harbor to get on the boat. Northeast Harbor was a cool little town too. Highly recommend this tour!

Captain Sean and Naturalist Maryanne were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.
The sun was not visible that evening but the tour of the harbors and Somes sound was incredible!
We saw Seals, Blue herons and Osprey!
The fog rolling in had an incredible beauty. It made for an incredibly unique tour.

This tour was a great way to start our trip to the area as the park ranger, who was wonderful, gave us lots of information. We also saw wildlife - porpoise, eagle, osprey, seals, and a falcon nest on a cliff.
