Gentle Dental Associates

My family and I have been going to Gentle Dental for more than 20 years. We have all been very happy with the staff and services they offer. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Definately 5 stars for their great team. I have recommended them to many co-workers and friends thought the years.

Me and my kids have been going here since I moved here in 2016 and I've always been happy with the service. Everyone is very professional and they have flexible scheduling. I haven't had any painful experiences so I would say they are 'Gentle'. I was even able to get a dental implant without having to go elsewhere for a specialist because they had one in the office.

I have some pretty bad anxiety overall, and dental anxiety is one of the bigger issues I have. I’ve avoided dentists for a decade because of how scared I felt every time just looking at my own teeth in a mirror.

I thought I broke a tooth recently. The whole office was able to get me in the same day and were so patient when I was so scared.

They all took their time to explain every step, and Dr. Wang is the gentlest dentist I’ve ever seen. She has such a calm presence, she explained everything she was going to do, checked in and made sure I knew how to get her attention if I needed, and I didn’t even feel the numbing process. They convinced me to book a cleaning, and I now have clean teeth!

I think especially for anxious people, or people who want/need to understand what is happening, there is no kinder group of hygienists and dentists.

Gentle Dental is great! I knocked out my front tooth, wasn’t even a patient, and they had me fixed up within two days. I’m very grateful!

I’ve been a patient for 10 years. The staff is very friendly and helpful! I used to be terrified to go to the dentist but not anymore! They have numbing gel, nitrous oxide, and novacain! They really want all of their patients to be comfortable!

Renee is my hygienist and she is great! All of the dentists I have seen there are very nice as well.

I've been going here for a year now, and I'm happy with it! I like that they have Friday and Saturday appointments available as my last dentist stopped offering these. I've had a few different dentists and hygienists there, and everyone has been friendly and processional. One hygienist actually told me I had the best teeth she'd seen all day, and that made my day lol!

I am a little biased because I used to work there. However, I genuinely feel that these people are the kindest and most gentle and thorough dentists you could ever go to!! Jamie is absolutely amazing at cleaning my teeth better than anyone has ever done in my entire life! I now drive an hour and a half just to go get my teeth cleaned because they're that worth it!! Highly recommend!!!

I wish I would have called them first, I was in pain a week longer than necessary. The doctor was great it was truly a gentle procedure removing one of my molars. He gave me scripts for pain and antibiotic that I really didn’t need after he removed the tooth. I will now always come to this doctor for all of my dental needs! The assistant was also good. They both made me feel comfortable.

I never usually write reviews, but Cheryl did a very good job while she was my dental hygienist. They took me back super fast being a new patient. I will definitely come back.

I have been a patient of Gentle Dental Associates for almost 20 years. For fifteen of them, I was also the office manager, so full disclosure. I have continued to be a patient because I know that I will be taken care of like a member of the family. Dr. Lacin is so delicate, skillful and knowledgeable. I absolutely love that she explains to me what she’s doing and why. Leila is the most beautiful woman. She is thoughtful, eager to help and has a memory like no one else I know. Every hygienist is thorough and excellent in their own way and I trust my cleanings to any of them. I also have to say thanks to Dr. Hwang the periodontist who works tirelessly to monitor all patients’ gum health. Dr. Wang is also skilled, gentle and works with her wholeheart to restore her patients’ health. Finally, Robin has done a remarkable job stepping into her late father’s footsteps to make Gentle Dental Associates a dental practice you can rely on. I am so grateful to everyone who has helped to keep his vision alive.

I can't say enough good things about Gentle Dental Ann Arbor! Everyone, the dentists, the hygienists, and the receptionists are pleasant and very efficient. I never spend more than 5 minutes in the waiting room, and they get down to business quickly. I highly recommend this place!

My family and I have been going to this office for our dental needs for over fifteen years now. We have been always very satisfied with the hospitality, services, and wonderful crew. Last few years my wife started developing Dementia symptoms and managing healthy teeth became very challenging to say the least. Luckily, I am in the hands of a truly extraordinary crew that continuously demonstrates high diligence and going way above and beyond expectations to handle a resistant patient with complex needs. When in the office, I feel at ease seeing exceptional levels of compassion and patience. They really make you feel like family. Though I am appreciative to the whole crew, a few deserve special recognition for their eagerness to help and unwavering patience, namely our hygenist Jaime and Leila Ikharbine. My greatest appreciation to them, their kindness makes all the difference in our lives.

I have been coming here for years and feel I have the best hygienist out there. She is caring, thorough and really takes time to make sure that your teeth are properly cleaned. The dentists are great about answering any questions you have and are very proactive and promote prevention so that your teeth and gums can be the healthiest possible. Overall, I’ve had an amazing experience with this place.

This dentist office has helped me to overcome my fear and anxiety of the dentist office. They didn’t make my feel bad at all about how long it had been and did everything possible to make me feel comfortable. All options and treatment plans were explained to me before doing anything. Renee and Jaime are the best hygienists I could’ve hoped for. I will never go to another dentists office! I am so grateful to have found this office and am on the path to my mouth feeling comfortable for the first time in a long time.

I would highly recommend Gentle Dental..!!! I live near Traverse City, and I travel to Gentle Dental for all of my dental needs. Dr.Ti Jen Lacin is absolutely phenomenal. She is the most gentle and kindest dentist I have ever experienced .!! I literally drive four hours to have her do all of my dental work. Dr. Lacin and the rest of the people at Gentle Dental are awesome and that’s what makes them a top of the line dental facility. All of the team at Gentle Dental are fast and efficient and very welcoming and not to mention the pricing is extremely reasonable.!!!
