Montibeller Park

This little park is my favorite place in Ypsilanti. There's a great gathering area, fantastic playground, areas to play sports, walking trails - AND, if you walk toward the back of the park, cross the little bridge over the running water, there is a dilapidated tennis court that has been taken back by nature, and it's the most beautiful place to just sit and think or take pictures. I've sat in there and watched thunderstorms, I've sat in there and watched it snow - Bella (seen in pictures) and I love that we have a little oasis in the middle of the city where we can get some quiet :)

Great park with tennis courts, multiple baseball/softball fields, two large playgrounds, excellent pavillions, and plenty of green space to walk around or organize games and events. There are also plenty of trees for shade, water fountains, and bathrooms on site.

I've been around this park for 25 years because it was down the street to our home of 19 years, but lately just visiting the park with my grandsons. My wife and I now live out of state but enjoying Washtenaw County parks is a priority when we visit.

Of all the parks around that we go to, my now 8 year old grandson always picks the Montibeller Park. It's grown so much and so beautifully over the years but the transformation over the past year deserves great commendation of all involved. It's clean with lots of options for kids to play on, and plenty of space for adults to relax. The slides and swings are thoughtfully placed and spaced for optimal enjoyment of the kids. The picnic areas can accommodate small and large groups, and the grounds are amazing to walk and play pickup sports.

A brand new play/picnic area is now under construction and looks almost ready to accommodate guests. This new facility has to be the top gem in the county.

This is a very clean park. It has two playgrounds, kite area and tennis courts. The Township host several events for the kids during the summer.

The park makes us feel like we are way from the city due to the elevation changes. We love this place.

Awesome park. Beautiful playgrounds, rolling hills, volleyball and tennis courts. Brand new community space with bathrooms as well. Absolutely must visit if you or your children like parks.

A nice little park close to shopping center. Park is well maintained with kids play area, tennis courts and a picnic area. Its located right behind Pittsfield public saftey office ( unit 2). The park gets crowded in the summer due to multiple residential communities at a walking distance. Access is from Elseworth road. Parking area is not huge but i have never seen it getting full.

This place is great! Very clean. Nice building with bathrooms, very clean. Awesome place to go!

This was my first time visiting this park. It was well kept. The restrooms were very clean! The playground was clean and updated. I absolutely loved the pavilion. It had clear garage doors that could be opened or closed. It's an awesome venue!!!

Good park, wide open areas. Bigger than it looks from the road. Plenty of space, has some amenities like tennis court and nature trail.

My husband, dog, and I love this local park. It's unassuming since it's positioned behind large stores (Meijer), but it's a beautiful spot for sunset up on the wide, expansive hill. It has great sledding when it snows, and the trails in the woods are very pretty and short in length as loops, so you can make a walk longer or shorter as you'd like.

Wow talk about an underused park! It's beautiful,big,and well cared for, and safe as it sits by municipal police station? There's pavilion,playground,restrooms,ball diamonds,tennis courts and green fields galore. Easy access parking and walkways. I've visited 3 times but only see a few other dog walkers a few families.

It's the perfect park! Plenty of space. My daughter loves it!

First time coming to this park. It was a very nice place for a picnic and a relaxing afternoon! My niece loved the playground areas!

Great park. Lots of grass to play various activities, kids play structures and 2 Pavillions - one is new and really nice.

This park is such a hidden gem. It isn't as "popular" as other parks in the area bc it doesn't have extensive walking trails and you can't see the enormity of it from the road, so you don't expect it to go on and on, but it does! and there are walking trails in the woods at the back of the park. The rolling green hills are perfect for picnics too, and there is always plenty of grass space to spread out and to feel "alone" even with others present. There are tennis courts, practice ball fields, a pavilion, bathrooms, and play structures. Absolutely something for everyone. Highly recommend.

Great local park. Lots of amenities

Peaceful place. Great place to watch your kids play, while you can sit and relax at picnic tables under a covered area. We had about 10 of our sons friends join us, so we had about 20 people total. Park is pretty clean too. We tried to keep it that way.

2 great playgrounds for the kids. My toddler had a blast climbing the rock wall.

Grew up in the ‘90s going to this park. Summer camp here was awesome, we used to set up a huge tarp slip and slide down the hill from the tennis courts, and have water gun fights on the playground. There are some trails through the woods, but be careful... Sumer camp rumor says they’re haunted! Really enjoyed my time spent here, and I hope to visit again some day.

Picturesque park, with several nature trails, surrounded by timeless trees, and subtle shrubs, adjacent to paved paths for bicycle(s) and pedestrians alike. Nice bathrooms also.
