Tawas River RV Park

Old park under new renovation. Staying there as a seasonal. Manager and staff are very accommodating. Give it a try!

We have rented a seasonal site. I was first impressed by the friendliness of Kathy who is manager of the park. She took excellent care of us and all our questions and concerns. Then I was pleased to see that the bathrooms and showers were clean. The people around here are super helpful and nice to talk to. I have never been somewhere where I felt so welcome. Although the park has aged and needs some work.... Kathy is tending to it with improvements all the time. You can't beat the seasonal rate. We are planning on being here for many years.

Yes there is a trailer park across the canal, but it was the best experience as campers we have ever had. It's quiet, the bathrooms are always clean, the showers are hot. The canal gives water sports people the option to go to Lake Huron or to Tawas Lake. We took the Lake Huron route. As a beginner kayak user, this was something we really enjoyed. The manager let us use 3 lots for our stuff, which was really nice. If we are ever in the area again, this is were we will stay. No it's not KOA, the trade off is well worth the stay. They are super dog friendly, the walk areas are always clean.

I Iove living here the new Manger Stacy has done an amazing job cleaning up the place an makeing it a place to be proud of. All the work Stacy an the owner have put into the place makes it a nice quiet place. I think the best part of living here is the amazing fishing the fish are huge. An the park is cleaner then ever. They are still working on makeing this an amazing place to live an to camp. Keep up the good work Stacy

Such a great Place to Camp & go RVing & Camping. This Place sits right next to Tawas City Bay & Lake Huron in East Tawas City, Michigan..it's Relaxing & Enjoyable. You can Swim In Tawas Bay. You Can Go Walking & Running & Biking..You Can Go Bird Watching & Yachting Nearby too. Located in East Tawas & Downtown. So, it's All Walking Distance & Shopping & Going To The Tawas Family Movie Theatre too. Plenty To Do.

Such a lovely place! We have cookouts, karaoke, and fishing. It’s an amazing place to be! Lots of fun for fishing and kayaking. The only problem is the trailer park is also apart of this campground, but other than that it’s great!

Our family loves Tawas River RV Park . This is our home away from home. You cant beat the people and the fellowship of this park. Every one helps everyone there are a great bunch of people here. We cant wait for summer!

My wife and I were very happy to have a park so close to town....although its older and trying to come back from years of neglect...we are very happy with the service and the cleanliness of the place...Kathy is very willing to help and we have seen such improvement since we have been there this year....the showers and bathrooms are clean and the neighbors are friendly.....it is both a mobile home park in the front and an RV park in the back....please give it a chance folks...you can't beat it for seasonal rates.

I am really pleased with this park and the park manager Stacy Maye is an outstanding person . Very helpful and considerate of all her tenants and the well being of the park.

Always clean and friendly. Super accommodating when we get in late after hours. $40 a night with water, electricity, and wifi...cant beat it.

The tawas rv park is a good place to live the park manager Stacey is real nice she tries to help everyone with what ever they need done. Its a friendly place to live at.
