First off, thank you, to the beautiful nurse that stitched me up. She was AWESOME. She had great since of humor, very compassionate, gentle, but pretty demanding and very assertive. Perfect qualities to have in her field. Thank You to all the ladies that pitched in and helped me

I had such good care beginning with my ER experience , right down to being admitted into the hospital. You can be proud of all your employees for the great care that I received. There is no way that you can improve perfection.

I came into the er last night for kidney pain. They were really thorough and knowledgeable about everything. Turns out they caught my kidney stones pretty quick based on my symptoms, got the tests and sure enough. They were all great. Funny, professional, good team.

I was camping locally when I was unable to breathe. I was taken by ambulance to ASCENSION St. Joseph in Tawas. I was treated with complete care and respect from the moment I arrived. Everything was explained to me regarding my condition and what was needed to happen. I was alone and very scared, but everyone did their best to help me understand what was happening. After being admitted the care continued, my nurses, nurse aid, food service and PA made my stay there as good as it could be. Thank you for the concern, for going the extra mile to make my stay there as good as it could be. I would not hesitate to recommend this hospital to anyone needing help. Thank you!

I visited St. Josephs while traveling. They made it easy to get checked in and were able to see, diagnose, and treat my daughter in minutes. It was just a simple diaper rash, but I am so happy they were able to give us a prescription while we are away from home. ❤

I tore cartilage in my back between my ribs so I was in a lot of pain. I was admitted quickly with care taken to not cause me more pain and both nursing staff and attending doctor took extra effort to diagnose and treat my condition speedily and accurately. They also were very tolerant as I had pain induced bad language which they took with a grain of salt and humor.
I was very happy with all involved.

From the moment I called I was taken care of with so much love and kindness.
After getting this number from a nurse in the East tawas hospital I called💜 receptionist I spoke to was very gentle, very patient and very kind to me. She helped me understand everything and answered all of my questions as well. And she helped me set up my intake interview. I cannot remember your name my love but you are a angel and a blessing upon my life. Thank you for who you are.
Today I spoke with Ben for my intake interview and we was a complete delight. He was very kind, full of joy and compassion. He prepared me every step of the way and explained each step as we went. He answered all of my questions. While asking me questions he was fully invested in listening, and addressed the topics with genuine feedback that was warm, positive, encouraging and professional. Thank you so much for sharing laughter with me and guiding me through this time. Thank you for showing tenderness as well.
Thank you both for who you are. Because of my experience with you I have a pretty good feeling that the Dr I have is going to touch my heart as well.

Excellent facility, very caring and professional staff, has heard horror stories about up North care but couldn't ask for better care than I got last evening, all around top notch

This time was very nice environment. The nurse was nice this time and so was the doctor . Better than the last few times I had went .

I was very happy how Dr. Herber treated me , she was thoughtful and caring. She’s a great Dr. Great bed side manner. Need more ER Doctors like her.

Went to the ER for a laceration on my hand. I was quickly evaluated and had the wound cleaned by nurse Alexa. Then had sutures placed by NP Liz. 😊 I was in and out in no time.

I was an emergency patient suffering from a sudden drop in my sugar levels . The attending doctor checked all of my vitals . My wife was present during the process . He eliminated all the possibilities and. Finally determined the problem . We were both impressed with his abilities. I felt I was in the best of hands .

Excellent service! No wait time! Nurse Craig was wonderful. Dr. Herber came into my room right away and assessed me. No wait. I was only in the emergency room for about three and a half hours. The X-ray/CT tech, Robert, was very informative during my cat scan and made me very relaxed. All emergency rooms should be run with such efficiency. The community of Tawas should consider themselves lucky to have Ascension St Joseph! Thank you for excellent care!

I had an ER Visit and from admission to discharge I received great care. I commend Dr Mathew Secord and his team. I recommend them highly.

I had a very good Dr And nurse that took care of me they did every thing to make me comfortable and I was ina lot of pain I can’t say enough good about my care the gentleman that did my scan was also very careful of my pain I hope you can keep people like them as I can’t say enough good about them Eathel M Davis

Everyone, from the ambulance people to all the ED treated me with care and respect. Met all my needs and answered all my questions. Addressed my pain and made me as comfortable as possible.

Everyone was amazing! I would highly recommend this hospital! I’m from out of town and they made me feel so comfortable.

They saved My life the doctors and nurses that took care of me in ICU and my other room where caring and polite all I am going to say is thank you for everything you did for me I am giving you 100 stars u deserve! God bless you 🙏

The only thing I would change is: I was given a prescription but because it was so late the Pharmacy was closed. Today is the next day and I had dialysis this morning. So I have yet to fill that prescription. 1:20pm

My nurse I had was the most kind caring and concerned person I have had in a very long time the x ray man was wonderful the lab tech was as wonderful and the Dr was amazing I just love my hospital in Tawas mi
