Beautiful trails, scenery, and wildlife! This was a great place to spend an afternoon! The park is very clean and the trails/docks provide a great waterfront view of Ford Lake! Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful place! We are new Ypsilanti and just opened our cafe & gallery near by. We love taking walks along the trail. There is so much wildlife to see, my kids love it as u can tell by the video lol It is not too long of a way around the water. Takes us about 30-60 min to get back to our starting point but we definitely take our sweet time and stop to admire the scenery. There is also a nice playground at the entrance to the water/trail. Definitely one of my favorite places in Ypsilanti so far.

It's a beautiful park. Very clean the views, surroundings and everything was amazing. There's benches and picnic areas some exercise spots with instructions. Very kid and stroller, wheelchair friendly. If so pass by here or are looking for a day out I highly recommend North Bay Park.

A wonderful place with the longest nice boardwalk I've ever walked!
And you can find some species there like turtle, fish, swan, Canadian goose, Blue heron, etc.
Toilet only available at the parking lot.
Be prepared with mosquito repellant.

This park also has some exercise tools with the instructions attached.

I took my parents visited at a foggy morning, not much people around. Trees surrounding the parking lot are colorful. The boardwalk is long and dry, not slippery. The lake looks quiet and calm. We saw Asian carps, swan, gooses, and other birds. There is a hill run down from the pathway to the parking lot, it's a bit challenge for the elder people. Anyway, we enjoyed it a lot.

Great place to go for a walk. Close to the city yet feel like you escape the city. The board walk/dock is a nice place to take a stroll, to enjoy the sun, the birds and the water. Also some good places to fish.

Such a well maintained board walk, almost the entire hike is board walk. I've never seen so much wildlife in a single hike as I've seen on this one!!

Beautiful park. Lovely walk around the lake. Exercise spots along the end of the trail. Spots to stop and enjoy the scenery or fish. Clean bathrooms. Cute little park for the little ones. And plenty of benches/picnic tables for seating in park area and along trail.

This is where you access the bridges on Ford Lake that you can see from 94. The walk around the water is gorgeous. The playground is great and there are fitness tests all along the walkways in this park.

Fun playplace for the kids. Right next to a large pavilion with some grills. The path down to the boardwalk is winding and steep by walkable. Might be challenging for small kids, elderly, and people on bikes/skateboards. Once down to the boardwalk there are lots of birds to see on the loop. Swan nests, turtles, ducks, frogs, fish and golfers.

The views and friendly people are well worth the hike. The parking is free, the paths are groomed, there's a workout trail, many beautiful picnic areas, pet friendly with nearby trash cans. The birds are migrating and this makes for beautiful photos.

We had so much fun here today. Long boardwalk style trails.

There are a lot of trashcans throughout the park. There are also a lot of picnic tables out long the "island walk." Theres an awesome lookout to climb.

There are some "well used" bathrooms and a nice new play structure. Also some charcoal grills are in the picnic area near the shelter and play structures...and also near the parking lot.

Also to note, if you dont mind walking in...you dont have to pay for a $3 day pass which is sorta neat.

I love this park. In fact, it's my favorite park I frequent. I enjoy walking the trails, and especially the bridge that lets you overlook the water... So serene and peaceful. It's a place I go to reset, relax, and walk away the stresses of the day.
