Great place to get work done. If you have a problem with a repair they address it quickly. Still have a shake in my new tires tho so that's the reason I didn't give 5 stars until that get fixed again.. I'm changing my review to 5 stars. I wanna give the owner Matt the credit he deserves. I was a little nervous to call them a 3rd time because I didn't wanna be treated bad since my tires still are shaking. But Matt treated me with kindness and respect and wants to get it figured out as much as I do. If you ever need repairs done to your vehicle I highly recommend Austin's Auto and there kind and helpful staff. Thank You Matt and your entire staff

My mother in law was headed home back to South Dakota and we noticed a tire was low. Turns out there was a screw stuck in it. Stopped in over the lunch hour and the crew was out but Matt grabbed a quick repair kit and fixed the tire in the parking lot in less than 10min. It was nice to experience someone who did not question or hesitate to help and I really appreciated his willingness to go beyond and help go get her back on the road quickly.

I like going here. Other places told me I need a bunch of things done to my car so I decided to take my car to Austin’s and turns out I didn’t. Go figure? They are always attentive to my needs and I’ve found them to be honest and fair priced for their services.

Matt not only runs a great shop but supports local causes. Happy to be their customer!

We were stopping in town for a few days on the way to some other things, and the check engine light started flashing at us a few miles before our destination. Took it the next morning to Austins, and they figured out what the problem was and got us going with the shorter term fix so we'd be able to get back home and to our regular shop for the more in-depth fix.

Very thankful that they got us in and out so quickly, and back on the road!

This is the place you go when you need something done reliably and done right.
I'm so glad we have a mechanic like this in town, where I know I'll be taken care of after other shops have let me down (or put parts in upside down. Looking at you, Midas).

They have a great "bedside manner". Exchanges are always smooth, easy and pleasant, even when I'm frazzled and have no idea what's going on.
The owner honestly seems to want to do good for the community, and they're succeeding.

I haven't brought my car there yet. We're new to the area and in search for a mechanic. I will say that I was impressed with Matt, the new owner. All his mechanics are ASE certified, the shop appears neat and organized and the mechanics have all been employed there a minimum of 15 years, two of the mechanics have been there for 34 years. I will definitely bring my cars here for mechanical work. Thanks for your time speaking with me Matt.

I have been to many mechanics in the past. I have never had a better experience in my life. They aligned my car to perfect spec when other places were telling me all these other parts were bad even though I replaced them myself. Never go anywhere for auto work than here. Ever! Never been this satisfied. Thank you again!

We brought in my wife's Chevy Volt to try and figure out what was going on with a few issues.

The everyone we interacted with was really nice and easy to work with. They quickly figured out the issues with my TPMS sensors, got me a reasonable quote to fix them, and got them fixed quickly.

I was called several times during the process to let me know what they found, different options for each problem and a time frame for each resolution.

I couldn't really ask for much more out of a shop. They were honest, straight forward and friendly to work with. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

I would recommend anyone in Mankato or surrounding areas to bring your vehicle here for maintenance. Staff is extremely friendly, shuttle is available, and they are right to the point and don't charge you for stuff you don't need. I used to always go to the Honda dealership and pay way to much for no reason. I would even hear the service people at Honda ripping people off right in the lobby. Here, they absolutely do not do that and price is always extremely fair and reasonable. I will for sure be bring my SUV and wife's car here from now on.

We had our vehicle break down in a parking lot and called Austin's for help. They walked us through how to get the vehicle started again so we wouldn't have to pay to get towed 85 miles back to Mankato. Of course we took the vehicle in to them once we made it safely back to town and they provided excellent service. They explained everything in great detail and got our vehicle up and running again. I would 1,000% recommend them to everyone I know and love. They will only do what needs to be done to your vehicle and treat you with respect and not try to rip you off. (While waiting for my vehicle, an elderly woman came in for help to change her car clock back to standard time. They helped her and sent her on her way free of charge. That is the kind of caring and compassionate service I look for.) Good people providing great service and helping their fellow humans when they're in a jam.

There was something loosen at the engine today. I stopped by this place, and one of the gentlemen came out and helped me. He was so nice and professional. Thank you for the service.

I do most of my auto repairs and maintenance myself. But for things like tires and alignments, I take it to the professionals. These guys are great. They do good work and are very polite and professional. If you need a good and honest mechanic, I highly recommend Austin's Auto Repair Center.

Came here on recommendation and had work done on our van. Staff was incredibly friendly, patient with our questions and kept us up to speed on their progress. Rates were fair and they reviewed all the repairs they did with us in great detail. So far the repairs seem to be just what we needed, everything is working the way it should. Would definitely recommend, and will certainly be at the top of our list when we need work done on our vehicles!

I have always used Austin’s auto repair as my go to shop in the Mankato area. It is hard enough to earn my business in this space, but Matt and team have always taken care of me with unrivaled industry experience and a hometown feel. I HIGHLY recommend these guys for any repair needed to your vehicle due to them being incredibly transparent and trustworthy!

Excellent service, fair prices. I even had a bill that was less than the quote I was given, and that has never happened with any other mechanic I've dealt with. They were able to fix a caliper rather than replace it, and I really appreciated them saving me that money.

As a woman, finding a mechanic who doesn't talk down to me can be a challenge. The people who work here never act like I don't know anything, which is refreshing. From start to finish, the service is always the best.

Lynn and Darla Austin are really honest, genuine people. I prefer to do business with people like them. Yes, they may be a few buck higher than other places out there BUT quality costs more.
