Such a cute place to live. Lily is the nicest manager I have ever dealt with, I hope she stays forever. Maintenance is quick to get to my service requests. A place worth living!

The folks at Skyline Management Group have been extraordinarily reasonable and understanding. The move-in process was smooth and they've addressed every one of our concerns with efficiency. After almost a year of living here, I hope it continues to make sense for my wife and I to keep living here for years to come!

I’ll do two stars mainly because this was my home for close to 3 years and it was a roof over my head. Other than that, this honestly was one of the worst apartments I had lived in. My unit was supposedly “renovated” but you could tell it was just a bad paint job. Parking was absolutely atrocious. You pay $35 for an uncovered parking spot where you never know if it’ll even be open by the time you get home. The caulking on my tub and my toilet were peeling off when I first moved in back in 2020 and was never fixed. I had to fix it myself. No office on site which means no management on site and just off the top of my head, we had like 5 or 6 different managers and all of them had the same thing in common…you couldn’t get a hold of them. Anyways, do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live. Only upside of this place is they accepted my pitbull.

They don’t care if your sinks or shower work, wet walls for months that are molding, or disabled tenants. Theyll use your parking spot that you pay for whenever they want. They never answer phones or return calls. As far as the interior goes you really are getting the “landlord special”. Tape that was just painted over, mold painted over, and doors that are cracking. They also love having their lawns green so while we’re under drought conditions they still water the grass every night even after rain. You have to leave the A/C running constantly because the units are so cheap that they don’t work. The only reason they’re in business is because they give you a low price your first year and then raise it because they know people don’t want to move that often. They don’t understand the ADA or the FHA, so good luck with that.

This is the shadiest most disgusting establishment I have ever encountered in my life. Room flooded twice with sewage, took a month both times to come fix it. Somebody smashed my bedroom window in, no action taken. There was no compensation offered for the flooding (which had me displaced into my living room for a collective 2 months), I had to BEG for HALF A MONTHS RENT. These people will never come make repairs, they don’t care about you at all. This place is dangerous and gross and the management is DESPICABLE. I moved out in APRIL, and today I got a call from a debt collector saying I owe money to the complex for cleaning fees (which we were NEVER notified of!) the debt was also only in my name, not even my roommates, which I suspect was retaliatory because I made them compensate me for the flooding and mold. These people are callous, greedy, and inattentive. The apartments themselves are also dangerous and disgusting. I saw guns on the property, domestic violence, ETC! Everything in the apartment is just painted white and looks nice but I promise you will never live somewhere worse. Save your money (as they HORRIBLY overcharge for this place), and go anywhere else. ALSO, they said they would compensate me for my flooding if I removed the negative Google reviews, which feels very shady as well.

Don’t believe the reviews you read about someone named Lily. Lived here a year and never once met or heard of this so called “property manager”. It’s run by Rize and good luck getting a hold of someone from there.

This place has such poor record keeping, they are threatening me with an eviction notice AFTER my lease ended and my apartment empty. They couldnt keep track of who was parked in which spot which caused such massive issues they had to go thru an reassing anyone (only time they've been seen on property) and that was AFTER I had to go downtown to see someone because no one answers the phone. Hell, no one answers at their corporate office either. Idk how this place functions. You guys can keep removing my reviews, I'm happy to keep leaving them. Probably better to allocate that person to answering text and emails but whatever.

SCAM!!!
I’ve lived here for about 5 months, A couple months after moving in my roommate and I started receiving messages from Shannon saying we do not have certain utilities when we were never told we needed them. After straightening that all out and getting everything in our name (which we originally had to do in the first place to even sign the lease) they then charged us with a penalty fee regarding our utilities saying they were never in service at all and they have no proof of it. After providing proof multiple times of active accounts they still proceeded to charge us fees until one day I come home to an eviction notice. Originally they said the fees for the utilities would be about $200. Then $500, then $750 all the way up to $1,200. I talked to Shannon who I again showed proof of all of our utilities being In service since the start date of the lease. She told me she would see if she could reduce the fees and stop the eviction process. A couple days later with no word from her, there was a notice of restitution posted on my door giving my roommate and I 3 days to vacate. WE WERE NEVER SERVED ANY PAPERWORK BEFORE THE RESTITUTION. They also served us on a Friday so we could take no legal action before they showed up with a sheriff on Monday. Talking with other tenants, the company running this building has changed 5 times in the past year and a half. As I took the small items I was allowed to take from my own apartment Shannon just stood with a snide smile on her face watching me and my roommate vacate. All due to her terrible communication skills, and a shady company backing her. Please, please do not waste your time. Both my roommate and I are very responsible young adults, never had any problems paying rent at all. Ascent is a huge scam please don’t fall for this. Thank you

Do not trust this landlord, Skyline Management. There was an unauthorized entry into my unit today to conduct non essential or emergency maintenance. They left evidence of their entry in my trash can. There was no notice given via a note on a door or via email, which they typically do and I plan around accordingly. I had many valuables out and feel very uncomfortable knowing that people will just help themselves to the key and enter my space.

These apartments are a complete scam and way way overpriced especially from what you get. If I could do no stars I would very poor customer service on their end, very fishy responses and management team, as well as does not care about any of the tenants living there or what goes on around there. Please save yourself the hassle by not renting here. The management is way sketchy, unlawful, untrustworthy, very very unprofessional and disrespectful.
