I'm impressed by this spot! I savored the tastiest breakfast burrito and salsa I've had in a while. The tortilla chips were crisp, the burrito was top-notch, and the salsas had a delightful spiciness. The diverse selection of drinks they provide is also remarkable. You'll be pleased – I highly recommend giving it a shot! You also have the option to personalize your breakfast burrito, and the owner is extremely welcoming. Get your day off to an exciting start. And the cherry on top – they're open on Sundays!

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food this is the place to go! I get the asada huarache with cactus and it's so delicious and huge for the price you pay it's well worth it. Bean and cheese burrito is great and huge. It's a small humble family place.

My favorite Mexican breakfast place to go to. Food is delicious all around. My favorite part is the atmosphere of the restaurant. Mom and pop vibes. Throughout the restaurant, there are positive messages written in Spanish.

Our go to Mexican restaurant in Salt Lake City. Why?! Coz it is the very best! Chicken enchilada, shrimp Ranchero are standout dishes. Pork (or beef?) soup, and pozeole are also really good. I also liked the seafood soup. The only thing we didn’t like is the flan and shrimp cerviche

Amazing, authentic, homemade Mexican food from scratch. I was blown away by the quality of the food here. It took a while for our food to be prepared but it was well worth the wait. I would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for 5-star Mexican food in the Salt Lake area.

I am 100% Mexican and I started cooking since a child so I know how authentic flavors can taste like.I normally never eat Mexican food out there because of all the disappointments I’ve had. I found this little restaurant close to my job and let me tell you they cook as Authentic as EVER! They are the only ones so far that have NOT disappointed me. I come here every Saturday and the $$ are affordable and very close to work. They are just the best Mexican food I have ever had in SL! I highly recommend you all to come here!! I had the Caldo de Res this time:)

Absolutely my new favorite of all times. Everything is homemade from scratch. The sauces are out of this world. I will be returning weekly! Since I wrote this review I have been back at least 10 times. So delicious So real

I came today and I only regret I haven't come before. The place is clean, and although there was only one server, he was prompt and attentive. I ordered one Tlacoyo and one sope regular. This is the first place in Utah I see Tlacoyos. They are very famous in Mexico, and Julia's Restaurant makes food the way Mexican natives cook. It was almost like if my mom or grandma cook the meal. The best of all is that my food didn't take long before is was served, hot, and with a perfect crunch. Everything is affordable, I'm glad I found this hidden Gem, and will keep coming and bringing friends to show them how the authentic Mexican food tastes like.

I was in Utah looking for Mexican food. This place is good. Food came out quick and fresh. The taco they make them fat with a lot meat. They only two type sauce. They didn’t have green nor red. But the one they had for tacos was good af and spicy too. They also cantaloupe water I would recommend.

Best horchata in SLC! My husband and I were delighted to eat here. We got the chile réglenos, which were amazing! The owners also came out to chat with us and were so sweet and down to earth. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu here.

I love to eat here. They give you two kinds of salsa. One is so hot I must mix it with the beans. Also good rice and guacamole salad.

A gem in the rough of Salt Lake.

Whoever knew about this tiny little secret mom-and-pop Mexican restaurant -and did NOT share- should be hung from their toes and made to snuff the delicious, homestyle, very authentic Mexican food and not be allowed to eat any.

The location.

The tiny restaurant is about the size of my bedroom, painted in bright colors and loaded with positive energy. The owners- a husband and wife team who work very well together create the most amazing deliciousness in traditional dishes. It's not finesse or aesthetics for which you come here to eat these dishes; it is the relaxing "I just walked into Abuela's dining room and we are about to eat...a LOT" feeling and atmosphere.

We found this place by accident, too, searching for another Mexican restaurant. We won't be searching anymore.

The service.

The order was taken swiftly by the smiling and very friendly wife, who was so sweet! She knew I did not speak Spanish well, but waited patiently and when I switched to English she was so shy, but still got our order correct. Perfect in fact.

The husband delivered our food as if we were the most important people in the world, making us feel special. And, something that surprised me, his etiquette: as if we were in a fine dining restaurant, never once did he reach over our food or get into our personal space. He was polite, fast, quiet and respectful. To all the diners.

The food.

Try...everything. It is all good. We had the asada burrito and enchiladas. My enchiladas came with 2 eggs over-easy. Just like the first restaurant in which I first ordered Mexican. The plate was literally LARGER THAN MY FRIEND'S WAIST!!!

And, it smelled so delicious, tasting even better.

Results:

This is a repeat for sure, it's the first one I am going to say deserves to be ritual. And ritual is shall become once I take my entire team from work here. Can't wait!

This place has the best menudo and posole in slc. If you have time or you are just passing threw salt lake and you like a good bowl of menudo , try this place!!!!!!

Found this place on Google maps. Decided to give it a try for breakfast. Ordered the machaca con huevos and loved it. Salsa was also very tasty. The service was excellent. I believe this place is family owned. Definitely check it out!
