McDonald Park

This park is really nice and is the perfect size. There's a large grass area in the middle with a walking path around it that has picnic tables and seating sprinkled throughout. It's well shaded from the gorgeous trees and is generally clean and well-kept everytime I've been here.

There's a covered eating area that's perfect for birthday parties or gatherings, basketball courts, handball walls, children's play area, and bathrooms. Overall this is a great place to spend an afternoon.

What beautiful, clean, and people friendly place to come to. I've just moved to the area recently, and I've taken a walk here every day at different times of the day. It's awesome. I've really enjoyed it. It's a great place for family to spend time together.

Large, beautiful park. Plenty of street parking around the perimeter. Park has a ton of green open space, basketball courts, handball courts, children playgrounds, benches, and trees. Highly recommend!!

This is my current favorite park in Pasadena. Great place to spend the afternoon on a sunny day. It's a very family friendly park. Plenty of shade and picnic tables next to the kids play area. The kids can play while the adults socialize around the tables. There are also public bathrooms by the playground.

I recommend bringing chairs and/or blankets just in case large groups are having birthday partys and using all the tables. There's a lot of shade on the grass in which to set up your chairs and relax.

When I have visited the park it has been clean and felt quite peaceful, lots of beautiful trees.

Very charming urban park in the middle of Bungalow Heaven neighborhood. Attending architectural tour recommended activity. Gives a good feel for middle class life when Pasadena was the richest town in the United States in the early 20th Century, all prior to 1920.

Nice park. Quiet area. Went around 5pm on a weekday. Good amount of people there but not enough to make an introvert mom 🙋🏽‍♀ uncomfortable. Didn't use the restroom so can't speak to that. I stayed in the playground area mostly but did see a handball court, basketball court, maybe a soccer goal thingy?

Very nice place. Lots of open space for social distancing. There are picnic tables widely spread apart. Lots of people having picnics and just hanging out.

Beautiful park in the middle of a nice residential area. Fairly busy on a Saturday with many groups enjoying a wide variety of activities.

This park is so great for birthday parties, get together,are just relax. The trees are beautiful the people that come there are phenomenal.

The park is a bit smaller than we're used to, but overall it's pretty well kept and has all the basics.
There is a mixture of people who attend this park and everyone seemed quite friendly and courteous.
I would recommend it for small gatherings, a walk, taking your kids to play or just to have a relaxing day laying around.

Have me rate it about 10 years ago I'd say its one of the worse parks. I recently went here on a church day at the park expecting it to be the same and I was wrong. This
Park has been cleaned up almost 100% bathrooms were actually clean 👌 I would now highly recommend this one.

Wonderful playground! 2 age appropriate play areas and plenty of swings. Side facing the street is fenced off. There are many picnic tables and a nice gazebo. Perfect place to bring your children to play.

The park was clean and quiet. The space we were at was pleasantly reserved for our group.

A small practice and peaceful place for the kids or to run around. It has a small play ground, and tennis court that also offer a walls to practice alone. It has nice open areas that are great for sports or for playing games. It also has some Maple trees that turn a beautiful red in the fall, when the leaves fall they are very crunchy and good for walking on. It reminds me of being in Illinois in the fall, with the colorful fall Maple leaves nice lawns.

One of our favorite parks - perfect for an active, adventurous 2 year old - fences in the right place to corral street access, but wide open fields to run in too. Also seems like a lovely spot for a birthday party or picnic!
