Very friendly get my hair cut every month

I have never been completely satisfied with a haircut and didn't know if it was possible to get a good look with what I have. I saw this Barber shop while driving down 35th S and decided to give them a try. This was the first time I had anyone pay so close attention to detail. I was very impressed! A great price for a great haircut.

Fast cut very reasonably priced no thrills just a great haircut. They were quick and easy on my kids would return/recommend.

She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Plus she did an excellent job. I will be returning monthly to hopefully help keep them in business due construction in the area. I love supporting small local businesses. Well worth it.

I have been going to Lucero's for over six months now. The two people that work there have well over 60 years of experience just cutting hair. They only accept cash and they only accept males. This is a man's and boys barbershop only and that's okay. The women have their salons and now we can have this. Just bring 11 or 12 bucks because they are worth it if all you need is a haircut.

My son has picture day today and I forgot to take him to get a hair cut yesterday, this place was the only one open early enough for me to take him to get a hair cut and still get him to school on time. Happy with the results my son haircut looks good and he got a treat after 👍 I recommend this place. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Today I searched online for places to get my haircut. Usually I do it myself and on occasion my wife will cut it. As I browsed around and read reviews, the other places were described to have the pretty ladies but not worth a damn when it comes to cutting hair.
I read Keith's review from 2 years ago and decided today I would get my overdue haircut.
When I walked in, I saw there are 2 Barbers. Steve's seat was open and he asked me what we were doing today.
I was in the Marines many years ago and I have always liked the style of haircut. I said I would like a military style haircut and told him I was a former Marine. He immediately responded with "a high n' tight?" Not quite that high. His next response was "medium reg?" I thought, 'wow.. someone who can cut hair AND knows the terminology.' I was excited for him to start.
For the last 6 years, I would cringe and stiffen every muscle in my body hoping whatever lady happen to pull up my name and start cutting my hair would not screw it up... never fails. They can't do a skin tight so they have to throw on a #1 to make them feel comfortable.
Steve didn't use any #1, #2 or any of that. His comb and clippers were the only things in his hands and did a perfect fade for my long lost 'medium reg' haircut.
He has been there 11 years and the previous owner was there 35 years. The barber shop was built in the 50's as a barber shop and has always been a barber shop.
We finished on a positive note and he immediately gave props to his female counterpart stating she can do whatever he can just as good... "minus the straight razor" with a little smile.
My calendar is now programmed to visit his place the 1st Saturday of every month.

Old style barber shop. Great cuts, great value!! Best to try to go in the mid day but they get you in quick. Have never had a bad cut as opposed to some of the chain stops.

Extremely fair pricing for an absolutely excellent real barber cut. I usually pay twice as much at the barbershops I usually regular. I'll be coming here more often.

I have received a hair cut at Steves shop several times now. He is a good Barber. If you are tired of the twenty somethings cutting your hair like they cut a dogs hair, then You will be rewarded by going to this shop. The man that works there is Steve. He is grumpy at times, but he rocks with the Scissors. Give Lucero's a try.

9 bucks and a good clean cut. Walk ins welcome cash 💸 only. Doesn't look much outside but Mr. Lucero has been doing it for decades.

Been looking for a real barber and finally found one. Tired of getting ripped off at a chop shop that couldnt cut a poodle. Seriously if you want a great regular haircut, Lucero is the place. I'm telling all my friends.

I really like this guy. He gives a great haircut and a beard trim. It's been around for awhile to. No fluff, but good prices good service good job.
