Great ambience, stellar eats, and good service. Was seated quickly and immediately served an awesome cup of coffee. Have had multiple breakfast and lunch items and they are always delicious and timely. The big windows and cozy interior make me feel like I’m in a small ski town. Love it here will be back again

Discovered this place while riding to Mountain lakes, and it was always full with people.

I went here with friends, food was amazing, really loved the Tiramisu Pancakes, Dirty chai.

Gonna visit again someday soon

So we are in search of good restaurants in & around Montville.
Found this beautiful place with amazing reviews & awesome ambience & no doubt it was our best decision.
Food - Yummilicious, value for money & cost is justified for the quantity & quality both.
Service - I just loved their staff, so welcoming, warm, prompt & they make you feel at home.
Ambience - They have varied seating with warm colors & little old school vibe. They have ample space, inside & out.
Highly recommended place.

Hapgoods is a great brunch spot in Mountain Lakes. The outdoor seating delivers a perfect nature vibe on a cool, autumn morning. The food is delicious! Highly recommend the banana pecan pancakes and the health kick omelet. Prices are reasonable. Will continue to come back for more!

Delicious food! Their mushroom bisque is outstanding. Also had the breaded chicken breast with mozzarella and red peppers. The mozzarella was so smooth and mellow. Very fair prices great portions and in and out quickly at lunch time. Highly recommended!

Wow what a great place. Loved the food, the outdoor seating, wonderful brunch experience. We went to this place for a Saturday brunch around noon. It was crowded but we got a table right away. They have an extensive menu with some delicious pancakes. Definitely going back there soon

This place is a solid 5 stars. They very consistent, and there was never an issue with staff, food, or service. The only remark I can say is when you show up on a busy day, you walk through the door and the sign is right in front of you that says please wait and someone will seat you. Many times this does not happen. Best advice is always go up to the register and request to be seated. This is on the busy days. Breakfast is great, it's on the pricey side but great. For the amount of money, go for the lunch menu. You can't go wrong.

I ate at Hapgoods in June 2023. It is the perfect spot for a reasonably priced, sizeable portion for lunch or breakfast! The menu has many great options, including many vegetarian dishes. We ordered the garden omelet and the vegetable panini. Both were delicious, fresh, and filling. Also, because of the warm weather, Hapgoods has both outdoor and indoor seating! I highly recommend eating here for a great meal.

This place is amazing. We went there for brunch and I think we chose the perfect place for it. It's a happening place and food is delicious. We ordered Steak and Eggs Benedict, and Huevos Rancheros, both were scrumptious. Would definitely go to this place again.

Delicious food, and the outside seating is peaceful to be near nature when you're usually surrounded by city sounds. I come here every time I visit from Miami, breakfast and lunch you cannot go wrong with whatever you order

Great brunch in a lovely setting with charming and attentive staff. The fried french toast was a delight. I'd give them extra points for the surrounding neighborhood being so cute, but Hapgoods already earned five stars!

The food is always so fresh & delicious never disappoints! The service is fantastic! We come here often, the chili is amazing, salads are plentiful! Make sure you check out the specials you will be glad you did! Something for everyone in your group-enjoy!

Very inviting cozy atmosphere. The staff is the most friendly. Erin was our server and was excellent. I got the kitchen sink, and my girlfriend got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. They do have gluten-free options as well. Gluten free toast, gluten free wrap. Only 1 thin that i was ahocked by. In a bad way. Bacon is $7 and you get 3 slices. That's a little steep. But I would go here again.

Met my father here for breakfast. Saturday's we meet up and try new places, and this place is terrific! First, our waitress was so polite, my father can be someone who always has to have a special order item that probably isn't on the menu, he asked for a Red eye, I'm surprised to say with out skipping a beat she knew what it was. I had an an ice coffee and it was delicious. They serve it in those mason jars which I'm becoming a fan of. He ordered something called the health kick (Pesto, Onions, Tomato, and Feta Cheese Scrambled with Egg Whites, Topped with
Avocado)He raved about it. I had scrambled eggs and blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon. (can't have eggs without the bacon) Eggs were fluffy, the pancakes had huge fresh blueberries in them and they tasted so good. We ended up staying a while longer and had 2 more cups of coffee each while we enjoyed our morning and talked. Needless to say we will be going back there very soon.

Cute place. Not super big. We were greeted and seated right away. So many of the options looked good, but we decided on 2 items that we would share. The fried french toast which was drizzled with Nutella and strawberries was delicious and not such a common item. It was very tasty, but I would have had trouble eating the entire thing because it was very rich in flavor. My sister ordered the huevos rancheros. It was very good and served over corn tortilla chips rather than the typical tortilla. It tasted good as well. I think by the time we finally got to it, I felt like the tortilla chips were a bit soggy, but the refried beans were very tasty and the avocado was a nice touch. I ordered a delicious cappuccino and my sister had a regular coffee with half and half. Both were good. If forever in the area, we would stop in again and try something different. Cute spot to visit if you're in the area.

Not very breakfast place. Menu could be more creative. Shrimp & grits were amazing and the most uniques option on the menu! California Eggs Benedict were standard and predictable. Nice atmosphere and outdoor seating options. Service was wonderful.

Burgers, omelette, potatoes, sausage and bacon, banana pancake, their caramel sauce, waffles were amazing. Beautiful place around, very friendly and quick service. Best breakfast food/diner in New Jersey for me by far..

With such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the staff provides top notch service. The food was super tasty and left me satisfied and full. I'm looking forward to coming back on a nice day to try their outdoor dining.

Quaint but comfortable local restaurant with well prepared and tasty food. Small but thoughtful menu. Friendly service and prices in line with its location in Mountain Lakes NJ. Breakfast is served most of the day.
