Albertville Tavern

This is a nice little spot. My food was great, bloody was great and last but certainly not least no cell service. That's right your significant other can't check in on you LoL

I wasn’t sure what to expect, and the entire experience was very good. Food, service, and ambiance were all great. The prime rib is excellent.

The prime rib here is still the best I have tasted. The flavor is phenomenal. Service is always great. A little drive from Eau Claire,but well worth it! If you ever watch Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives I always thought this place should make the show! New owners steak is still Great. Well done!

Very quick service on a Friday night. Six delicious pieces of fish, salad, and choice of potato for $10.95. Burger was great and kids meals with huge portions for $5.25.

Owners and staff are awesome! Called in to have a late dinner before the kitchen closed and they had a table set for us when we arrived!

Great experience! My husband was looking forward to having Thursday night's special - pork steak and dumplings. . .loved it! My burger was perfect. See you again on our next visit to Wisconsin!

Wonderful food and very attentive service - and they were VERY BUSY! Will DEFINITELY be back. Prime rib was the best we have has in a long time.

The Friday fish fry was great, the service was great and everyone working there was super friendly! We didn't save room for a root beer float, so I guess we'll be heading back soon. Highly recommend!

This is a difficult review to write, because I don’t WANT you to go to Albertville Tavern.

This place is amazing. The people are awesome, the food is excellent, and the drinks are alcoholic. I don’t need you coming along with your screamy kids, sweary family, and annoyingly too-loud laugh, and ruin it for me.

However, my Therapist tells me I need to practice being a better human, so I’ll tell you about the Tavern if you promise NEVER to come here.

First, the people are lovely. Truly friendly - and not in that fake, ‘oh no, I’m genuinely interested in what you did at work today. PLEASE, tell me more about the copier jamming.’ kind of way that a lot of other Restaurants are. They’re all genuine and wonderful to talk with. Oh, and they’re quick to serve tables. I saw a few (older) reviews on here that were like - ‘we went when it was busy, and it took longer to get our food’. I presume these are the same kind of people that complain about all the other people getting in their way at Disneyworld, and ruining their trip. Yep, if it’s busy, sometimes it takes a little longer. But it’s worth it.

I presume those people are complaining because, with an attitude like that, they don’t know what it’s like to be popular.

In short, don’t go to a place because it’s a hidden gem and complain when other people went to the same hidden gem.

Even shorter, and to my previous point, just don’t go to Albertville Tavern.

Second, the food is amazing. I personally love the Poor Man’s Lobster. (So don’t order that when you don’t go, to leave more for me). My wife enjoys the Cheesy Tots. My parents loved the Pork and Dumplings, and said it was the best pork they’d EVER eaten - and you need to appreciate just how old they are. They’ve had time to eat A LOT of different food through their life, and have VERY high expectations. I say that as their son, who has regularly made them lower those expectations.

My point is - the food’s great. I truly haven’t tried anything there that disappoints.

So please, PLEASE, listen to me when I say this is a great place to eat.

Do NOT go there.

If you need any more incentive not to go - When you arrive, I may be there. I’ll be the one with the screaming kids, swearing family, laughing too loud, and enjoying the best Poor Man’s Lobster known to man.

I can’t wait to not see you there.

I've had a lot of good prime rib and burgers in my day but this may have been the best. Great cocktails, amazing food, get out here if you get the chance.

(Don't forget the lyonnaise potatoes!)

Good food. Love the fish fry on Fridays and prime rib on Saturdays. Curds great too. Owners and waitstaff are always so friendly with our kids. Wonderful folks.

This place is tucked back in the country...very good food the cheesy tots are awesome. I had a new york strip phenomenal waffle fries and relish tray with dinner. Delicious total 5 stars from us ! Great service great waitresses

We have been here many times and come back for the good food and great service.

We went here with my family off a recommendation, specifically, for their fish fry and it was great, an overall delightful experience. Abby was our server and she did an excellent job, she was kind, patient, knowledgeable and fast- just really good at her job. She and the other girls/servers were so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in until we walked out the door. Food was great, lots of side options, large portions, and not alot of money! We will definatly be back again. I dont write reviews, but this was such a refreshing experience, I am happy to write about good people doing a good job.

We can never speak highly enough of this place. Nikki does a great job. We loved it when Patty owned it, and we love it just as much now. We miss never seeing Annie anymore but we love Abby, Beth, Cheyenne, and Nikki. Amazing food, service and personalities all around. ♥ We recommend Albertville to many friends and family!

Saturday is Prime Rib or ribs for their special. Great pre rib. The gal that owns the place is a very kind, good hearted lady and the rest of the staff there seem to have enjoyment in working there. Locals that stop in are all nice people as well and are always looking for a good conversation. Great place in the middle of no where.

Excellent service and food. Bailey (our waitress) did a wonderful job and service with a smile. Fish fry with loaded potatoes was best in class.

Delicious food. Excellent bar; well run. Great staff. I believe Kayla is the best chef in Chippewa County!!

Very reasonably priced. Good atmosphere. Reasonably priced.
