I went to this location 3/20 to get some work boot. The 2 gentleman was very helpful and attentive and although there were other customer when I got there they still greeted me and ask how they could help me out. Both gentleman made sure that everyone was being helped. I’m thankful for them being so patient and understanding as I was looking for the right work boot for my work needs. Will definitely be back to this location since it’s now my #1 place for my work boots. Thank again for great service.

I entered the store on Rt.1 no. Edison and explained the problem I have with my feet. Amy the mgr. was Amazing. She analyzed my foot size and walk. Within minutes I had results and the proper boots for my feet. Then was given choices for another work shoe as well. I suffer from diabetes so buying work boots isn’t easy or fun but Amy is a professional and that’s why I continue to shop at Red Wings, Edison,NJ.

I am a big fan of Red Wing boots and this is the retail store I have been visiting for the past few years (at least 6) the staff here is helpful. The store is impeccably clean and well organized. They have always had what I needed. I usually stop in for and exchange on laces when mine become frayed, which isn't often, to take advantage of red wing free replacement. I have never had a problem even without the boots on my feet a sales rep remembered me from over a year later. My last purchase about a week ago was an extremely quick and smooth transaction about as easy as ordering something online.

Great service, appreciated the foot pressure point analysis and accompanying support insole recommendation. Had to wait 8 days for my boot selection (not in store) to be ordered and delivered. High quality product and helpful service.

Recently bought a new pair of red wings with the new laces. The light weight ones gotta tell you they saved my toes, the cashier Jon at this store when I purchased it during the pandemic was super cool coming to the door and helping me when I didn’t realized they weren’t open to walk in. When I had an issue with the boots I walked in expecting a hassle and gotta tell u it was such a pleasure to see the same jon and having the best experience. I stay with red wings in Edison because they are beyond professional. I just wanted to thank Jon for another wonderful experience. I appreciate it.

More boot stores need to take a page from Red Wing's book. This company is by far one of the most accommodating and friendly businesses that look at every aspect of what you're searching for. Will be back again for sure!

I just started a new job walking and standing on concrete all day and went to this location to buy their boots, after having bought a discounted pair of Red Wing heritage line from Lord and Taylor online. I went to this location to see if they had the same boot in a different size but had second thoughts after trying them on and feeling how stiff they were. The salesperson Jon who helped me, helped me realize that the heritage line is really about looks and not about comfort. He suggested the Supersole 2.0 at half a size smaller than I was used to but in E Width. I first went with that and realized they were too big around the heel and came in to the store to try and get a better fitment. I decided on getting a regular width in my regular size boot instead of a half size smaller. Everything seemed good until about two hours into wearing them, I started to have pain that was so excruciating and in so many different places I couldn't wear them any longer. In the trunk of my car was the wider boot size that I still hadn't returned and so I put those on to relieve the pain for the remainder of the day, and in fact wore them several more times before coming to the realization that I was not able to break them in without great pain and that this was probably not the right boot for my foot.

Long story short I wore two different sizes for several hours and days and wound up returning both under the 30 day warranty and bought a different model altogether. I didn't expect to be given a refund or credit on both boots but hoped we could work something out and to get the right boot for my feet.

Jon I thank you and so do the bottoms of my feet. My feet couldn't be happier. He was the utmost professional and gave me several more choices that worked for what my professional activities entailed and I bought the best fitting ones from that category. I compared the boot he sold to me to other brands that were $400 or $500 boots I had bought that weren't appropriate for the job I am doing, as well as comparing them to a pair of Timberland PRO boots and these boots are the only ones that could get me through a full day of working on concrete without much fatigue. Jon was so understanding and helpful in trying to get my feet into the right fitting shoe. He saved me from further pain or possibly wearing a boot that would cause damage to my knees and/or back. I highly recommend anyone who needs a proper fitting and appropriate boot for their profession to come to this store and ask for Jon. Red Wing boots, along with Jon at this location, are the only place you should shop for your next work boot period.

Walked in ready to buy a new pair of boots bit on the advice of the very helpful woman there my feet were measured for a pair of orthopedic soles. They did the trick. Rest be assured I will be going back here when I do need another pair. I've been coming here for years and won't go anywhere else.

This Red Wing store stands out because of the very helpful employee. She was attentive and very knowledgeable. This was the 2nd store we had gone to in 2 days to find my boyfriend's new boots in the right size and the difference between the 2 stores was noticeable. I didn't catch the woman's name but I recommend this location because we got good help finding the boots we needed.

Great store! They listened to my purchase problem and look into an issue that was then resolved. Amy is a great employee and i will be recommending this store to all at my work.

Sales associate guy name was Jon , I walked into the store and was greeted by the whole staff. He helped me make a selections based of my preference , also mention to me their current sale promotions. For example if you spend X amount of shoes/boots additional savings and buy two accessories and get one accessorie free. Highly recommend this location.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They were very patient with me as I tried to get the correct fit. The employees also have experience wearing Red Wing and other brands of boots.
