The food is delicious, the portions are really good for the price and the service was outstanding! I would definitely recommend it to anyone!!

This place is phenomenal! If you’re in the mood for barbecue you should try Tinos. Even if you are not in the mood for barbecue, you should try Tinos! There’s many options to try here! It’s so good and the portions are fantastic! I had the barbecue chicken and ribs! This was probably the best barbecue I had ever eaten! The meat was so tender and seasoned just right! I also had roasted potatoes and grilled carrots, broccoli and cabbage! Delish! My husband had the ribs, beans and rice! There are also sandwiches, entrees such as chicken Marsala as well as vegetarian options. Maria is the owner and she is sweet, kind and hardworking! I would highly recommend Tinos! You will love it!!!❤❤❤

We stopped at Tino's BBQ and Grill sort of by accident - we were dropping my parents off at the airport in Newark and needed to stop somewhere for lunch after a week in the Poconos (with pretty disappointing food). We stopped in Parsippany but no one was down with Indian food so we tried this place out.

The seating is awkward and the printed menu is pretty American fare. Skip the printed menu. Gaze upon the dry erase board hung over the counter and only order off this. It is your Mecca to good food!

We started off with a few bowls of chicken and sausage gumbo soup, and it was delicious. Seriously rivals the gumbo I got down in New Orleans at Zydeco's. I ate it all, there was nothing left.

I ordered a beef empanada, another family member ordered a pork empanada. The empanadas came out early and we're served with the most delicious red sauce. I asked the owner what it was and he just told me it was "empanada sauce made from hot sauce". I dipped it in my beef empanada (delicious) although I was told the pork one was not as moist.

The main course was also delicious. I got the Febras (peppers and pork with yellow rice and fries) and others got the pork cubes and shrimp (can't recall the actual name, sorry!) and the kids chicken strips, as well as a few empanadas.

The kid's chicken strips were, I kid you not, the best looking child chicken strips I have ever seen or sampled. They allso came with yellow rice.

The Febras was delicious, and I drizzled the empanada sauce all over it and ate the entire thing (minus the giant portion of fries - they were whatever, but just filler compared to the real star of the show).

The pork cubes and shrimp came with a sauce that pooled on the bottom of the plate, the pork was a tad bit touch but still good.

Overall, it was some of the best food we had on our week long trip. Skip the American fare, order off the white board!

Best if the best!!! Great portions, great tasting food, nice place. Definately will be returning as much as I can!!!! All their food is really good! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

The food is amazing the portions are gargantuan. The NY strip is spectacular. And the prices are great. Been ordering here for years and haven't had a bad meal yet.

If you don’t want to drive all the way to Newark for authentic Portuguese food, Tino’s is the place! The shrimp garlic is soooo good. Beef ribs, clams in garlic hit the spot. I’ve tried Portugalo BBQ and they don’t compare. If you want real, delicious Portuguese authentic flavors, go straight to Tinos BBQ & Grill.

From upstate NY came here for lunch. The portions are more than generous don’t let the pricing fool you because it’s more than worth it. The empanadas are definitely A1. Juicy not dry. We got the BBQ chicken with fries and rice as well as the sautéed pork cubes with potato’s and rice. They have a variety of beverages from regular American to imported. Cute cozy local family. I believe the gentleman’s name is Tino the owner and he waited on us always made sure we had everything we needed. Top notch service tucked away.

Tino's is a truly great place. I did a takeout last night and it was great (as usual). I ordered BBQ chicken, pork giambotta and veal ala Italiana. The portions were really big. But that's not the most important. It was all very tasty at a decent price. Today I went back, and got a blackened chicken sandwich for my lunch. I loved it! If you love local restaurants that serve quality food, you have to visit Tino's. It also makes a difference when the staff is very friendly. That's also a reason to go back to Tino's!

Tino is very thrustworthy. I forgot to take my credit card. When I got back the next day to pick it up, he would not give it to me, unless I showed my ID. I appreciated this. You can trust Tino!

I was expecting more of a southern USA bbq joint, but I was surprised in a good way by the food. I ordered a rib/chicken combo with rice and black beans. The portions were such to give 3 adults a great meal for $20. The staff were very friendly and seemed to have full command of their well-oiled machine.

Been eating there for years one of the best sandwiches you can get for lunch steak sandwich real chicken oh my God it's delicious. Don't know what to call him so I'll call him homemade potato chip fries 😁😋 they are so good price is really reasonable. For one of a kind food you can't get it anywhere else like this

Absolutely love this spot, been going here for years. Its not an 'American' style BBQ joint, though they serve similar dishes.

Highly recommend the Blackened Chicken sandwich or Penne Vodka with your choice of protein. Can't go wrong with the ribs or chicken platters either.

It can and does get busy around lunch time during the weekdays so plan accordingly (early or late lunch). I usually order food into work so I can't comment on seating during lunch but the place only has a handful of tables and chairs so I'd assume during lunch it fills up quickly for eating in.

Stopped here on our trip back, All of the food was amazing, all of the staff was friendly, food was quickly served, the server was great with the children, and their home made desserts are well worth saving room for.
