This store is a wonder for those who love model trains. I bought a new, ready to run set for my neice and nephew from their extensive inventory of new and used products. They also provided expert advice on building a layout and got my old trains running again. I recommend them without reservation.

Been here the past two days on 12/2 & 12/3 2023 and I have to say this store has become my new favorite place. They have everything you may need when it comes to train sets. Their staff is incredibly nice and helpful and they are always willing to test our your equipment on their in-house train sets. I was there trying to fix my wife's 20 plus year old train set and without them I would be incredibly lost. I can't thank them enough for their help as I now have a running electric train set under our tree!

Absolutely fantastic store and full of just about every train and train related item you can think of. Dave and Sue clearly love trains, and their display is worth looking at even if you only have a passing interest in trains. They have expert knowledge that can solve and fix most of your problems as well, saving you time and energy!

This is the best Lionel train store you will ever find! They not only have a a huge inventory of new and postwar Lionel and American Flyer inventory, they know how to repair trains better than anyone in the industry. The owners are knowledgeable and friendly and guarantee everything they sell.

Want nostalgia? This train store is such a great place to find toy trains and enjoy an amazing model railroad! Went to find a couple of small random pieces for an accessory and they had them, couldn't believe it. Support small local hobby stores like this one! Will be going back soon!

I love coming here. The store is really cool- it has model trains running and hundreds of different trains to buy. You can also get decorations and cheaper, used trains. The staff here is super nice.

They are the best of the best. My Dad and I used to go here and now I take my boys. There is no better place to bring your Lionel trains for service. This place is great for both the die-hards and the "ready to run" crowd. If you are still reading, I brought a train set that I did NOT buy here, to the Train Station, and they fixed the train tender at no charge. I am forever grateful for saving that Christmas. They also restored my father's 671 and it works as good as new.

This place is great. I went with my son who is fascinated with trains. The owners were so helpful, first on the phone, and then in person. When we went our first time last week, we were impressed and thankful of their COVID concerns and precautions. They made us feel welcome and safe- something extremely important these days.
We went back this past Sunday because our son wanted to used his well-earned money to make his first big purchase. Sue was so amazing in all aspects of the transaction, including him in counting the money, doing the math, and making sure everyone was pleased.
Despite the mask on his face, one couldn't help but notice how big his smile was, and how excited he was.

This train store is awesome. It is a small old school Lionel train shop with a extremely experienced staff. Come visit this shop to start a great hobby and also feel like a kid again 😉. Thanks to Dave and Sue for being the best!!!!!

I have been going here since I was a young kid, and took my 2 year old son here last weekend. Dave was extremely helpful and took his time helping us find my son's first train set. Very family friendly and kids(and adults) will enjoy the set up in the store. Great selection and prices on everything, with some really good information.

Went there today to see if I could find some new or quality used O 27 tubular for my Christmas layout. Found good used track at a great price. Worth the 45 drive. Great place to buy trains and accessories....they have pretty much everything new or used. A nice woman helped me...not sure if it was the owners wife or not. Definitely give this place a shot and support small business

Brought in a bunch of trains from 1959/60 to sell. Met with Dan who did the appraisal of my items. We had a great conversation about model trains and real trains, memories of playing with these trains and other tidbits of knowledge. Spent an enjoyable hour or so and got a very fair price for my collection. Dan took the time to explain what had good value and what was very common and not worth a lot. I did a lot of research before I brought my collection in and his offer matched up very close to what I came up with. This is a wonderful store with very nice and knowledgeable people. Stop by and play with the layouts they have setup. You'll have a good time and maybe want to get a set of your own.

As a Lionel Train owner I can’t begin to tell you what a pleasure it’s been to shop at the Train Station. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and their stock of trains and accessories is impressive (from new to vintage). Since the pandemic we’ve been shopping on the website and the orders arrive in an extremely timely fashion and are carefully packed. This store is an absolute gem and a must for any model train lover.

I drove an hour and a half today to visit this hobby shop. I had the opportunity to meet the owner. One of the nicest guys you'll ever come across. The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly as well. I'm new to this hobby. Thank God they had the patience for me. They repair trains as well. A ton of inventory. Stop by and check it out.

Great place, great selection, great service. They have an amazing selection of used HO and O scale trains for great prices. I bought the most detailed HO caboose I have ever seen for only $9! I would highly recommend coming here, I have never seen a better selection of Postwar and Modern scale trains.

Went there today (Friday) just before lunch. Quiet and very welcoming. As a first time train enthusiast with my son, we felt like we had terrific support from Sue. She was very helpful, did not try to run up the bill and wanted to see my son and I happy with the things we purchased. She takes pride in showing off the store and the displays. This is the type of local store that has gone away to the likes of Amazon or Walmart. So glad we found this store. We will absolutely go again as we saw several things we wanted to purchase in the future for birthday and holiday gifts.

Found this shop while on a trip. Great store with lots of inventory. Owner and staff are very helpful and friendly. If your in the North Jersey area this is a stop worthy of your time. Pricing was reasonable. Will be making this a yearly stop on my North Jersey trip.
