Washington Valley Park - PARKING

Great small hike. We followed the Red trail markers. It does get very muddy during A
March April months. Hike is about 2.5miles in total.

Great trails for walking a dog. My 14 year old beagle loves this place. Be cautious for broken glass, but other than that the park is very clean and a great place to go year round.

I initially was trying to find the waterfall but Google sent me here. I enjoyed the trails and scenery. It's very lovely. Make sure you wear long socks

Great hiking–trails for a variety of athletic levels. The hawk observation point overlooks a quarry, but scenic nonetheless. It is worthwhile to try accessing the park from all of its parking areas. Each entrance offers trails that provide a totally different hike–different scenery, different level of difficulty, etc. Also a good mountain biking spot.

This place has some trails where you can walk inside the jungle. In the summer there are lush green in the jungle which is very soothing. We saw lot people took their kayaks and do some kayaking in the canals. There are bear warning. Also it was written in the parking that there are some insects which cause Lyme disease, so please take some insect repellent with you. We saw some people biking and fishing here. There is a pond which contains turtle and we saw a couple of them. Overall a good place for an afternoon walk.

Great place to mountain bike. Moderate difficulty, not for beginners. High difficulty relative to most other New Jersey trails. These trails are very rock. I bring knee pads, elbow pads, and more protective gloves in addition to my normal biking gear as falls here can be unforgiving.

Awesome park that you can do a little bit of everything at. Perfect for mountain biking. Many different level trails available and even some down hill berms, jumps and obstacles.

This park located in the deep valley between the first and seond Watchung montain ridge is an ideal place for the hikers who want to walk for an hour or two. It has an easy access to RT.22 and highway 287. It is clean and well maintained.

This parking lot is small, so you may want to keep alternative locations in mind. Recently flood damage has blocked some trails, so be mindful of your that in your planning. Bikes are allowed.

Great small hikes. Go across the street and follow the green round trail markers for a 1 hour hike. You will find some tasty rasberries along the way.

Sick mountain biking here. Do you hate climbing hills? Probably shouldn't ride here. Do you like sick descents with tons of rocks and logs? Holding onto your bars for dear-life as you bounce across rock gardens? This is your place. It's called Chimney "Rock" - that in itself should tell you something.

Excellent Technical mountain biking trail.

Chimney Rock is a great place to mountain bike. Very technical and alot of climbing. Also very rocky. Great workout.

Good place for a quick break from the world. Good flat trails in the North side of the reservoir, technical and hilly everywhere else.

Really good mountain bike trails. Super rocky but a big difference from Hartshorne park. Loved it

Nice walking area that can get a little crowded (car park full). Nice change from the 'burbs to get into woodland/lakeside.
