The staff are so friendly and helpful. I was able to find an employee easily. The store has a good selection of outdoor vinyl fabric too.

Staff are always kind and very helpful! Quality products at competitive prices. I was looking for 10 inch rose gold deco mesh. Neither Michael's or Hobby Lobby had it. Joann fabric had it online and 40% off! Ordered and picked it up in less than 2 hrs.

JoAnn's is one of my happy places. I'm a crocheter and I love to shop for yarn. Their selection is pretty good even though this location is one of their smaller stores. I'm on their email, text, and mailing list so there's always a sale or good coupon. Lots of seasonal merchandise and crafting supplies of all kinds. No ultra conservative corporate policies to dissuade me from going there like some of their competitors either.

There is one sale I look forward to every year and it is the 4th of July sale. I like it even more than Black Friday sale. It has sale on sale and It isn’t really all that crowded. Also, I know we don’t have much choice about Joann’s on the Eastside of Rochester, but I feel like this one is the cleanest in Rochester and the staff is pretty knowledgeable about their product. I think they might have gone under new management. Anyway, happy shopping!

I visit this location often. They have a great selection of fabric and yarns, as well as decor and other craft items. Sometimes the cutting line can be time consuming at busy times, but they are quick to call a second cutting associate when needed. I like how close it is to other stores and the employees are always friendly.

My sister and I went into Joann’s today looking to buy supplies for making a double layered fleece blanket- which we had no idea what we were doing. We asked Rita for help and she was incredibly willing to help us. Not only did she explained what we needed to get, but she even showed us how to make the blanket. She was so kind and she definitely deserves a raise! Thank you Rita!!

This is a surprisingly small joann's but they manage to fit in tons of fabric and seasonal goodies. Still lots of stems, but not quite as many as some places. Less of the crafty stuff, and at supplies but still focus on the fabric. Very clean, organized and tidy shelves.

This location is on the smaller side so not as many fabric options but still have wide variety of crafting supplies. Very clean and organized. Ladies at the cutting counter were extremely helpful and sweet.

I had a very nice young woman help me check out. She price matched all of my items and spent a lot of time with me. The store was nice and clean and well stocked.

Lots of fabrics as expected and a wide variety of crafts and supplies. Picked up many items for creative craftwork at home. Staff is very helpful in locating any items you may need, they helped me several times in one stop at the store.

The girl at the fabric counter, and any where else she is needed was fantastic! She was a huge help from Patterns to material. She was also needed to help with a problem at the register. I wish I could remember her name! She wears glasses, 40ish and she has been there at least 20 years. I'm grateful for her help and her great attitude.

I really like the smaller Joann stores, the Penfield one is great. Clean, organized store. Friendly staff. A good experience.

It was my first time at this store purchasing fabric. Great customer service in helping me out and saving money on my purchase. Good customer service is rare so this made my visit special. Thank you...I would definitely return!

Came on black Friday. Deep discounts. Bigger than our Joanne's back home in southern Georgia. Friendly staff. Crowded but line moved fast.

The staff is GREAT! JOANN is the only place I can find any kind of sewing supplies I need. For this project, I was making pinch pleat drapes. The only downside is sometimes they aren't staffed to accommodate fabric cutting and general "where is ..." kind of assistance. Also, I prefer to pre-shop online and then go to the store; however, you can't really trust that what the web site SAYS will be in the store, will actually BE in the store and vice versa. The app is great for finding deals, but if you shop online or receive the sale flier and then go to the store, you always have to make sure the item price rings up properly ... although when it does not, the staff is great in helping get it resolved.
