La Pintoresca Park is a public park built in 1925 to a design by Ralph D. Cornell & Theodore Payne, incorporating features from the grounds of an 1888 hotel that formerly occupied the site (the Painter Hotel – later renamed La Pintoresca Hotel - perimeter retaining wall, steps and many of the mature trees on the site). The park includes large areas of lawn, mature trees, a perimeter rock retaining wall and steps, play areas, a tennis court and a skate park. Buildings on the park site include a public library, two power substations (one of which has been converted to an educational use) and a former fire station, also converted to educational use. The park also has a pergola, constructed in 2003, in roughly the center, which is a new design referencing an original pergola that was in the same location.

Located on the entire block of East Washington Boulevard between North Fair Oaks and Raymond Avenues in the northwestern portion of the City of Pasadena. The property is within a major commercial corridor at the edge of a single-family residential neighborhood and consists of a single 4.4-acre lot.

In between, it has ledges, rails, Manny pad, stairs, etc.

Bought my dog a water bottle and wanted to c how it would work if I took him out n this heat, everything was kosher, meh!!!! So, so, but all n all he had a great time until it was just to hit even for me. So we got n the car and came home where it is cool.CYA, Anderson's out.

Quiet, fully green, family park in the the heart of the NW Pasadena. A store and a couple more store across the street. Good place for a picnic. Very quiet in the morning to about mid afternoon..

This is the 3rd incarnation of Pintoresca skatepark, the best so far. Well constructed concrete and metal , interesting funbox feature and jumbo ball kicker gap .
