We’ve been going here for almost 30 years and hasn’t disappointed yet! Negatives: staff can get busy and seating can feel cramped. (Because it’s popular & small!) Positives: The food is delicious & unique (like this pork chop in a spicy, lemony wine sauce 😋) It’s a good place to celebrate life & friends!

Excellent spinach manicotti!! The pasta had chew, the ricotta filling and tomato sauce were better than what I would use at home. My partner loved the asparagus in her Asparagus Pesto Farfalle (and the rest of it too). Service was great, a fun and delicious place to eat, if a little loud.

Above average pasta dishes! The seafood and sauce were both fresh and delicious 😋. Used the crusty bread to sop up all the sauce when the pasta was finished.

I love the real, refreshing feel I get at this restaurant, it’s a great break from all the greasy ordering out and it really reminds me of a real Italian restaurant with its fresh ingredients and meals that focus on quality as opposed to cheap manufacturing.

Really unassuming place. Do not expect your regular diner food. Maybe this little gem caught me by surprise? I was waiting for a regular diner menu, almost left when I saw the Italian food menu, Italian to me is the most overrated food (wine and olive oil the same problem for me). I was pleasantly surprised on how much I like the beef Lasagna we ordered, split pea soup and fried calamari. Everything was great tasting. The place is not the most affordable in the area, but it is totally worth it.

Like I mentioned, Italian was my least preferred food but now this restaurant has some how changed my mind. Now I am looking forward to our next visit to make sure I wasn't just hungry :-) on this occasion.

By the way the olive oil at the table was also great tasting and fresh and went perfect with their estrange but wonderful bread

My favorite spot to get an amazing seafood lunch on a lazy day. Go half a dozen times a year, never had a bad experience. Always delicious food and friendly service.

Great spot, food is incredible and service and drinks were great. A bit tight inside but they have great outdoor seating when it's nice out. We'll be back for sure.

All the pasta is made fresh down the road and the sauces are delicious. One of my favorite places to eat. Lunch is the best time to go in my opinion, just because of the mushroom sandwich and the pasta lunch specials! The staff are super friendly and everything is made to order. Take out is easy, but they do not deliver. Parking is in the back or around town; it is free to park. Only issue is that the place is really tiny, so be ready to wait on the weekends or during a busy time!

If you are moving to Katonah or visiting, you have to come to Blue Dolphin! Also, try the dish I attached; it's pesto and marinara sauce mixed together with fresh pasta shells.

My husband and I met up with my in-laws for my mother in-laws 93rd birthday. We ate outside in the patio. The food was amazing . They have a good-sized menu ,but they also will make many things that are not listed. For instance, my husband had veal Parmigiano . They also make some of their pastas from scratch. It's located in Katonah, NY. It is a very quaint town that only took us an hour from Middlesex CT. They also have a good dessert menu, espressos and cappuccinos, beer, and wine. I can't wait to go back.

The cheesecake is a big standout. Incredibly fresh and vibrant. I loved the decor and the diner homage.

One of the best Italian restaurants in America!! Can’t find Italian food and an ambience as good as Blue Dolphins anywhere else. Alfredo is hands down one of the friendliest and most passionate restaurant owners I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Always a treat when I can share a meal with my friends and family at his restaurant. Incredible food and well priced!

Hands down the best pasta we’ve ever tried! We loved the bread, the shrimp appetizer, the farfalle pesto, and the manicotti! The service wasn’t the best, though: Three of us were dining together (my mother, my sister, and I). When the waiter came around to clear our table, he made sure to take off my fork and knife from the plate so he could stack our plates on top of each other. He did the same for my mother, but when it came to my sister he left the used cutlery. It’s understandable that he might’ve forgot, but then he came back with new sets of forks and knives. He neatly placed them on new napkins he brought for my mother and I— but completely ignored my sister.

Generous portions, very courteous and considerate service from manager Alberto. Pasta is homemade, sauces are not too salty or oily and the wines are not that expensive including rare varieties such as Sicilian Cannonau that featured in National Geographic Blue Zone studies. It was a pleasure being in a restaurant where you could hold a conversation with your dining companion as everybody was very educated. At one point, three dogs came in to accompany the families and even the canines were elegant, reserved and quiet. Lovely gastronomic and social experience.

Family business that’s been around for a while. Their pastas are always great and we order from here often for dinner. Love Alfredo and his team!

The food and service are always spot on, My waitress was delightful and recommended meat lasagna ( a must have )the ambiance is amazing, Love this place.

I was really not going to write until I read that someone wrote here to claim that the wait staff was rude. I find that incredible! Unbelievable ! So much so that I think it was a fake review.
After 25 years of eating there, and NEVER, ever having had anyone be rude to me, well, it isn't hard to figure that one out. For some reason they are always nice to us!

Great, truly Italian food. Nice people. Fair prices and always a great meal.
