Muscoot Tavern

Celebrating its 100th anniversary, the Muscoot Tavern is still alive and kicking in the kitchen. A visit here quickly reveals why this tavern has endured a century. The low ceilings, white twinkle lights, and cozy atmosphere are most welcoming. The menu is full of comfort food favorites, including big juicy burgers, flavorful homemade pasta, a creative variety of thin crust pizzas, fresh seafood, and much more. The desserts look mighty tasty, too. There is a nice size bar and heated outdoor dining available. The kitchen closes between 8:30-9:15, so plan accordingly.

I took my family there for the first time this past weekend and WOW!!! The food was AWESOME...My Husband had the Cowboy Steak and he said out of the local known steak places it was the best. My son had Lobster Ravioli and ate it all. I really say A+++. The outside old look is cool as well.

Food and service were excellent. Prices fair, portions were good and the 1925 atmosphere earns it a 5th star. It’s certainly a one-of-a-kind restaurant that makes it a great dining experience for me. Would recommend without hesitation.

Had lunch here this week. Had not been here in a few years. Menu choices and specials were inviting. Food was very good and service was excellent. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy. Will definitely go back!

Very fun, nostalgic restaurant with great food and service. Funny signs, old photos, murals, wavy, wood floors, barn-like interior all add to the charm. It was a summer day that threatened rain so we dined outside under the tent. There is also indoor seating and lots of tables outdoors not under a tent. There were four of us. We had the Caprese salad, clams casino, rib eye steak, lobster salad, fish and chips and a turkey burger. Four different pallates but we all agreed, everything was outstanding - including the service! We will definitely be going here again!

Rustic little hideaway. Great atmosphere and good. A definite stop off if traveling along I684 in New York.

Ate the Hungarian Pizza

Goat cheese, caramelized onions, dried cranberries, extra virgin olive oil honey, dash of cumin.

Awesome food! Stopped in on my way through town. I believe it was the owner I spoke with. He commented on an F100 I had on my trailer outside. Great little shop with awesome prices!

Great food, cozy, rustic atmosphere. House was packed for Mother's Day Lunch. Service was attentive, and the food was well worth the slight delay. The BBQ ribs were flavorful and tender. Grammy loved the veal osso buco, and the pizza had generous toppings and was very flavorful.

Great options and good variety, even on the lunch menu. Plenty of parking. The restaurant is nestled behind a mechanic shop, so keep an eye out, but worth the trip.

Was a heck of a drive from Long Island but was absolutely worth it. A hidden gem. Service and food were amazing.

If you love classic hole in the walls this place is for you. Been going there off and on for years. Good food and drinks.

I came in from a bird watch/walk along Muscoot Dam area and had a chill from the rain. Low and behold, Muscoot Tavern had a propane stove! I took the table next to the stove and sipped a Reisling while waiting for the seafood fra Diablo I ordered. I felt so relaxed and toasty. The meal was good. If you want more Diablo in your sauce be sure you ask for it. The sauce was on the mild side for my taste. It so was delicious I cleaned my plate! Thank you, Muscoot Tavern for an awesome lunch experience!

Muscoot Tavern is a delightful and cozy place to go and have lunch os dinner. Great meat plates, we had a salad, a tenderloin steak, a corn and clam chowder and a cheesecake. All was great. A must visit if you are in the zone.

1st time at Muscoot. I pass it weekly but never stop. I ordered the Colossal Burger, Fries & Sangria and sat outside on the patio. The service was great and the food was good. Will go again to try something else.

This place has charm. Some things don't need to change. Food is good. Service is great. I like that it has a bar with regulars.

Blow out of the water with the flavors and options. The place is small and more of an older feeling to the place. The service was quick and staff definitely kept up with anything you needed.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable lunch but dessert was the icing on the cake we split a slice of Oreo cheesecake and our cappuccino and see the picture attached
