Maria's Pizza

Maria's is my #1 for eggplant. I like how they make the eggplant battered only without bread crumbs. Bread crumbs take away from the eggplant experience, for me. The sauce is always on point. Another perk is the pizza. Love the big slice. Again made just right. Good balance of cheese and sauce. Highly recommend.

Our family has been going here for over 20 years. The pizza is amazing! The size of a slice of pizza is HUGE! Definitely recommend.

I haven't been in a while, but suffice it to say that their pizza is the standard by which I judge all other pizza. Simply the best. For something different, try a Hippie Roll.

Local favorite that we always stop for when we in town. Huge slices ranging from plain cheese to chicken parm or penne a la vodka topped slices. There's a larger menu with pasta and other offerings but the pizza and rolls (eggplant, chicken parm, buffalo chicken) are the main attraction. Reasonably priced food, lots of local flavor in the form of chatty neighborhood guys and local sports on the oversized TV make this a perfect little hole in the wall pizza joint.

The food and service were both excellent! The food I got… packed with flavor! Will definitely return and whoever hasn’t been here, they need to come by and try it!

The chicken caprese wedge was outstanding and loaded with crispy chicken, fresh mozzarella, with basil and tomatoes on a crispy, toasted wedge all drizzled in a balsamic glaze. Truly memorable and I will definitely get it again!

Great slice the fact that it's enormous is a plus but even smaller it's a great slice at a fair price. Pizza chef is a really nice guy, truly cares about his customers and takes pride in this za. Will be back again soon....

Maria's pizza is amazing!! Their giant slice is HUGE and is more like 2 1/2 normal slices altogether. They make the most delicious philly cheesesteak I've ever had!! Highly recommend!!!

I travel from CT just to eat here, best slices for the best prices. Not sure why there's negative comments about the customer service. Always received nothing but the best, people need to lighten up and understand how difficult the restaurant industry is especially after the last few years.

One of the best local shops, pizza is standard but their plates are very good. Staff is always friendly, and prep is quick even at busy times. Best spot in town for pizza.

Maria’s pizza is a landmark in town known for their huge slices and 3ft pie.
Their food is always fresh and amazing, never any complaints.
The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Such a great atmosphere!

New York style pizza at it's best. Every time I come to Yorktown this is a must stop place to go. May this shop last longer than I do.

Had the marghartita slice with bbq sauce and spinach roll with marinara sauce. Enjoyed immensely! Everything tasted fresh and homemade! $7.50 for all.

What can i say... this is my hometown pizza place. I have been getting my HUGE slices from them for over 30 years!! This is my childhood!! The pizza is fantastic...from the sauce to the toppings....perfection in every bite. I walk in and i am greeted by name after all these years. It’s not just their pizzas...i have never gotten a bad meal there. From wedges, salads, wings....it’s always the same and you know what you are going to get... great food at a great price!!!!

I don’t normally write reviews but I could not, not write one for Maria’s Pizza. First off when you walk in Frank and his staff are warm and welcoming. They always make it a point to acknowledge each customer when they walk in. I always appreciate an establishment that does that. Now to the food. Their Pizza is absolutely delicious and if I want Pizza I am going to Maria’s - vodka sauce and Fresh Mozzarella is my go to… thin crust…🤤…but What’s great about Maria’s is they crush it with not only Pizza but their entrees Apps, etc. Let me just cut to the chase. Everything. I mean Everything is freakin delicious and is made with heart. As if they were cooking for themselves or their family. My go to is the drunken chicken parm wedge… made with vodka sauce instead of marinara… it’s so good when I have parties I’ll get a tray of it… along with the cold antipasti that Frank makes it look like art work - and all the ingredients are so fresh you can taste it…I can go on with a review of Maria’s- but just trust me. The staff is great, the food is even better.. You don’t last as long Maria’s has if-neither of the two were true…so if you are new to the area or just passing by.. You would be doing a disservice to you and whoever you are with if you don’t give it a try. I guarantee you will be back for more.

Excellent pizza. Best in town! Love the wings too. Lil pricey especially given the times we live in, but u gotta do what u gotta do.

Pizza = this place is my favorite and huge slices are fun.
My kids love this place too.Mom loves their simple Italian salad. Excellent also is Eggplant Parm, love their marinara sauce, I ask for extra.
Small seating area but who cares about that. It's not fine dining. It's great pizza. Enjoy!

I couldn’t possibly recommend a better pizzeria, and every out-of-towner I have brought here has raved about this place. I’ve been eating here since 1995, and the cheese slices are phenomenal:

1) They are twice the size of an NBA player’s hand.
2) The sauce is an unbelievable recipe.
3) The crunch-to-dough proportion is reminiscent of the Golden Ratio.
4) When you’re finished with the main portion, the crust is almost like a decadent dessert.

Garlic knots are worth it, specialty slices do not disappoint, and the service is quick and friendly. This is a QUALITY family-owned business and if they ever retire, I will create a gravestone to forever commit them to memory.
