Village Diner

Village Diner is a staple in the Saugerties area. You won’t find anything better! The atmosphere is so relaxing and chill. The Hungry Man Breakfast is my favorite and rather phenomenal! The food is extremely well prepared and provided in a timely manner. The staff is super attentive and friendly. Tables and restaurant are always clean. Plenty of parking and seating available.

I love coming here for breakfast whenever I travel out.
The French toast is delightful followed by their fresh coffee.
When it comes to dinner, I enjoy their meals & their comfy atmosphere.
I would definitely recommend it, if you ever want some fresh breakfast.

The Hungry Man Breakfast was amazing and the portion size was perfect. My waitress could have been more attentive to refilling drinks and making sure my food tasted good. I will definitely stop here again

Had the grilled chicken portobello mushroom wrap with garlic mayo... was spectacular! Hubby had the omelet with ham and cheese. Everything was so good for a great price and great service!

Great friendly service! The steak and eggs are worth a try! The steak was cooked exactly as I asked, it had good flavor and there was no tough parts only tender flavorful steak in every bite! It comes with two eggs any way you like it, choice of toast and a side of home fry’s. If I lived local, this would be a regular spot for me!

It’s a home town diner. It’s got the “bar type seating “ at the front, then you have choice of booths or tables. When they get really busy they open the other half of the seating, or if you have a large group they will open it up. Food is good diner food. Prices are reasonable and staff is awesome! Great place to meet up with friends and the owner is cool, hands on and he’s very friendly.

Food was superb. Your standard diner fare, so you know what to suspect. Waitstaff was extremely friendly. But be warned, if you are visiting on a Sunday the wait for a table and for food can get very long. We waited over an hour for our food to be delivered to table, once we had ordered it.

Big portions, great customer service, attentive. Low prices and good food. Definitely a place I would return to specially for breakfast.

Classic diner experience. Had a giant omelette which was incredibly delicious. Country potatoes were perfection. A great Sunday weekend breakfast overall.

We stopped by stairway diner and it was abysmal. We looked up this place and it was 10x better! Very friendly staff with very good prices on dining. We very much enjoyed our plates and hope to stop by again soon!

My husband ate here as a little boy before they moved away. We decided to visit while driving through. We split a Buffalo chicken wrap that was excellent. The creme of tomato soup was killer. Tapioca pudding for dessert. Servers were cheeky! We loved it!!!

Standard diner fare and service. Nice, convenient, affordable. This insanely expansive menu puts Cheesecake Factory to shame.

Not a truly old school diner but a nice feel, clean and tidy. Menu choices were expansive. Great daily specials. Server was a bit matter of fact, not hospitable, just ding her job.

Everything you want from a diner. Friendly service, coffee on tap, good fry up and 50's style interior. Great spot. Highly recommend!

I wanted to check to see if my grandmother was is the kitchen! The pork loin was juicy ...the stuffing is traditional and savory as opposed to that wet saw dust with apples n’ raisins you get in Greek diners. Real mashed potatoes that didn’t need anything but a fork! If you want comfort food drive past the mediocre diners and find a parking space behind this establishment...you won’t regret it!!!
