One of the very best. His care literally changed my life. I will never forget that the most valuable medical advice came from Dr P. He doesn’t dismiss my concerns or gaslight me like the others. Note that he has a PhD and* MD. Two for one!

You may have to wait at times but i promise you dr p is giving his full attention to each patient, he has been treating me for a disease that takes years to diagnose so i finally got the diagnose and thank goodness dr p was already on it and treating me #bestdrintheworld#

Dr. Pretorius helped us get to the bottom of a serious health issue with my father . He admitted him to the hospital when we were not getting any help from other clinicians . He visited him daily and took excellent care of him . This is not the first time he has come through for our family . He gave at home visits to my grandparents long ago . Our family will always appreciate his brilliance and devotion to his patients .

This doctor is very intelligent, takes his time with you, and genuinely wants to help and find the root cause to your issues. The only doctor who took me seriously and didn't try to gaslight me. We discovered a lot of issues but unfortunately it's been mostly our of his field of being able to help me with them, but he did find things others missed/dismissed. If he can't help you with something he will refer you to someone who can. Its also nice to get bloodwork and imagining done right there in his building. Cons: long wait times *bring a snack* and fully charged phone- and staff can be rude and disorganized. Trying to get stuff done by staff is like pulling teeth.

Dr. Pretorius is very thorough and takes his time explaining every thing. He's the best!

I am so blessed that I have found Dr P, thank goodness for my referral of a friend of mine. His staff and the ladies in the office have been nothing but kind and respectful to me. we always complain about going to a doctor and being rushed in and rushed out. but not here you literally may have to pack a lunch lol because he takes his time with you. He talks to you and he gets to know you and he is not one just to treat the symptom, he treats the issue that causes the symptoms. I literally broke down in tears in his office just because I was so excited that someone finally understood me. And helped me immediately. And just his knowledge of how the brain and the body functions and how thorough he explains in a version that I can understand, I know not every physician is for everybody but I am so proud that Dr P is my physician.

Dr. Pretorius was my 3rd opinion and I wish I had found him sooner, he was very knowledgeable and took time and I definitely did not feel like just a number, my health has been a puzzle and most Dr's just try and push me away to not deal with it and he actually found so many things and taught me more then both my previous endos in just one visit and for the first time in awhile I have hope, couldn't be more appreciative of him and the time he spends with his patients. If you want a quick in a out and feel like a number I can tell you excatly where to go but if you need someone to help and figure out your problem he is the guy!

Dr. Pretoria is excellent!
He takes his time with his patients. He is so intelligent and friendly. Patients can get their blood work done at the office so there is no need to go to a lab.
The office staff is helpful and friendly. I have moved to Texas but I am very thankful that I visited his office when I resided in Ohio.

Dr. Pretorius is sensational. He is knowledgeable about everything pertaining to medicine and Is conscientious in every move he makes. Dr. Pretorious is been my medical provider for many years now, and I have always been more than pleased with the care he has given me.

I have referred friends, whom ultimately have had a much healthier life after seeing Dr. Pretorius on a regular basis! He is an excellent Endocrinologist !! His staff continually helps my husband and I...I don't care what we need, tests, prescriptions changed, savings for our prescriptions...basically anything at all his staff continuously helps make things easier to understand and makes all call necessary to our insurance company. I can't thank all of you enough. I just read a review bashing Cindy, who handles prior authorizations...Qsymia is a weight loss drug that is rarely approved by any insurance company unless you have tried and been unsuccessful at losing weight with at minimum 2 others medications such as Belviq, Belviq XR and Saxenda, etc..We have Cigna and that is exactly what we've been going through for 4 months...Cigna won't approve therefore it's an out of pocket expense....very harsh review done with little knowledge....how horrible!!!

Sometimes you must be patient for excellence. This is that time this Dr. is worth it

My name is Tracy and Dr Pretorius literally saved my life. His knowledge is, I think, what no one else could have compared to. I could not walk without being extremely dizzy and off balance, I could not speak in any way and be understood and I had been to 6 other Drs including Ohio State and no one had the knowledge and took the time to give me the tests needed to figure out what was wrong with me. Dr Pretorius gave me a brain scan that showed the I had low blood flow to the middle and back of my brain. Caused by a virus in my Thyroid which did not need to be treated but other Drs treated me with medication that literally made me overdose and almost loose my life. I have been treated by Dr Pretorius for over a year and I am functional and happy. What a wonderful Dr. Thank you Dr Pretorius, I could never repay you with words.

This doctor encouraged doctor Frankenstein to continue his work at bringing people back from the dead! If you like lightning streaks in women's hair this is the guy to thank.. he claims to have only one weakness which is claimed to be gin but has also claimed in the past to be cigars!

We have received great, insightful care from Dr. Pretorius and his staff. The wait can be long so plan ahead and bring something to do.

Best diabetes doctor. Unfortunately, there is often a wait, so bring a book to read while you wait.

Wait is long but that is because the dr spends time with u and researches your situation. Dont be in a hurry here but go if u need a dr who wants to help!
