Relax The Back

My 92 year old father purchased a chair at Relax the Back in Northbrook, Illinois several years ago which helps lift him out as he sleeps in it nightly. The remote control for the chair broke and made it so the lift no longer worked. This chair is so important for my father's lifestyle and keeps him independent. I contacted the store in Northbrook IL and Patrick answered. He was so nice and helpful and quickly fixed the situation that morning. I am forever grateful for Patrick's help. My father loves that chair! Highly recommend this outfit!

Patrick is really great. Bought a cushion for my car & it makes my drive much more comfortable. And don’t get me started on the joy of the massage chair. I felt like a wet noodle (which is good) after.

I am a life long sufferer of back issues and discomfort. Patrick was patient, took time to understand what my particular ailments are (much unlike many of my doctors I might add) and was so helpful in making sure I was happy and confident in my purchase. thank you so much for all of your help in getting my chair working again. Sorry for my thickheadedness in assuming I knew the handle was broken instead of in the locked position (embarrassing :-) ). I just thought the lock position was in reference to the forward tilt arm.
Anyway, it's an awesome chair that has helped so much in the recovery of my shoulder / neck and lower back pains. My physical therapist recommended specifically this chair and it is a true gem, like the two of you.

Relax The Back is for those who want to "Try before buying".

I wanted to TRY a swivel recliner massage chair BEFORE buying one... Relax The back was the only local walk-in store with the demo chairs I could try.

Day 1: Becky identfied and let me try a demo chair that met my needs.

Day 2: After researching about the demo chair I had tried on day 1, I returned to Relax The Back where Patrick expertly helped me learn how to fully use all the features of the demo chair.

Day 3: I returned to Relax The Back with my spouse to show her the demo and order the demo brand swivel recliner massage chair.

Day 4: I returned to Relax The Back to pick up the demo brand swivel recliner massage chair.

So, I HIGHLY recommend Relax The Back for those who want to "Try before buying".

I called to say my chair wasn’t working properly.Becky was able to tell me when I purchased the chair, what my serial # is and the 800. Number I can call for service. I appreciate her helpfulness.

I walked in today to just see what my options were as a 6’7” person, and Patrick was immediately attentive as I walked in to help me find a good fit. He was professional and agile in his fitting process and within five minutes we had figured out what chair would fit me best. First time in my life I’ve sat in a chair actually fitted for me! He was well informed and gave me all the details I needed. He and this store will be my first recommendation for anyone I know in the area looking for a better fit.

Stopped by the store and was greeted by James who was very friendly and knowledgeable. I really loved the atmosphere and conversation I had with James. I'll be back to purchase some things for my house when I get it ready to be furnished.

I went there after doing some research about pillows, because I was tired of waking up with a headache. Becky listened to my concerns and had me try out many side sleeper pillows while she checked my alignment. The pillow I bought has really improved my sleep. They also had massage chairs set up, and very nicely allowed us to relax in them. Great store and fabulous service!

I visited the Northbrook store 3 times before I purchased my zero gravity recliner. Lewis, my salesman, was as knowledgeable as you could only hope a salesman could be. After giving me the pros and cons of the various chairs, he left me alone to sit and enjoy the features of the different models. When my chair was delivered, the heat feature of the chair was not working. Lewis had the customer service people contact me directly and the issue was corrected within the week. I have no hesitation giving 5 stars to this location of Relax The Back.

I bought a desk chair at Relax the Back location in Lincoln Park Chicago. Dan helped me out here and was fantastic. Very transparent and helped me get exactly what I was looking for. 10/10 customer service.

I've been going here for a few years now for pillows, chairs and other tools to help with back/neck pain. I highly recommend this store. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful and have a variety of merchandise available which you can try at the store before purchasing. I found out recently that they even rent their massage chairs (2 week minimum).

Excellent store staff, very helpful. Measured me and took the time to go through all the options to see what the best fit and pillow was. Very appreciative. First time in years I've had no neck pain while sleeping
