I respect her and her practice so much! She is educated and caring! She is fair, honest, and does her job very well! When I needed her she was there!

Oh my... where to begin with this character...

Dieffenbach will not represent you in your best interests. Between the scoffs and snarky remarks in pretrial, to complaining about her own occupation (a public defender), you’re way better off asking for different representation if money is an issue!
I had a magistrate court hearing just shy of a year ago.

During that time, Dieffenbach demanded me to stay silent and not speak out about my case. I would’ve signed a waiver that would just worsen my situation.

After the broken promises she gave in my initial sentencing, I ignored her half-hearted advice and requested a hearing.

I fought for myself in magistrate court. As a result, my efforts paid off that time because I refused to stay silent and spoke about my case.
It ended up getting dismissed due to insufficient evidence on the complainant’s end. A verdict that would’ve been easily reflected in my circuit court case, had I gone to trial.

Instead, I took her advice to stay silent and accept a plea deal. All under the understanding that I was gonna face a fine and no jail time.

I got hit with 90 days in Hamilton co.

Learn from my experience! Roxann Dieffenbach won’t represent you! I feel awful for all the cases she continues to take on as a public defender, knowing that the treatment she gave me was far from fair or in my bests interests.

After all, when you receive representation, whether it’s appointed or paid, you figure they’re going to represent you in your best interests. In the case of Roxann Dieffenbach, it’s solely her interests, giving as little thought & effort into the cases she takes on “for free,” as a public defender.
