Racetrack Park

Went to the Lyon Firework Festival 7/3/23, park was beautiful! It held the festival perfectly. Bathrooms were clean and well kept! Grounds were beautiful. Fireworks were amazing! Parking was a bit over crowded, but the local police department was directing traffic so it was relatively painless to get out of there!

Went for the Fourth of July fireworks. Had a great time. Nice playground for the kiddos.

Such a lovely park that I have been going to since the mid 1990's great for kids and parties. Also try the nature trail. Just past the deer.

Now that our kid is older, we've been able to enjoy many of the things here. Before, we'd only come for the playground and to see the deer. Soccer and baseball/softball programs are played here. There's a beginner disc golf course. And many different events are held here throughout the year. This is a great community area with lots of activities going on.

I went there geocaching and it looked like a nice park. Lots of things going on while I was there.

This place has baseball, softball, soccer, geocaches, and the best spot for fireworks!

There are beautiful Deer at this location. Enjoy bringing them potatos , carrots, they love grapes and pumpkin , bread, and watermelon rines

Great place with a veriety of activitys. A great place for soccer and baseball games for both children and adults. It is also the annual gathering place for Tobacco Heritage Days and the annual Fireworks display. Food and drink can also be found during these festivities.

Excellent community gathering place

This is the park where Edgerton plays its little league games. Imagine if you will a little league franchise in desperate times. The Twins went a full year without winning one game. The franchise needed a new start.

So the next year they rebranded as the Orioles and the lovable group of underdogs managed to pitch, catch, and hit their way to the championship game of the Tobacco Days Tournament. There they faced the powerhouse A's.

Hard fought game goes back and forth until it was the bottom of the ninth, two outs, Orioles down 1 run, and with a runner on third. The Orioles 2nd baseman is up to bat. Here comes the pitch.... and it's a bunt!

The ball rolls down the third base line in fair territory while the runner sprints home for the tying run. The bench is cheering but none of it will matter if the batter is thrown out at first base. The pitcher cleanly fields the bunt and throws it to the first baseman but the throw is too high. The runner takes off towards second base while the right fielder has to scramble for the ball.

By the time he has it the runner has rounded second and is nearing third base and the fielder throws it towards his cutoff but it is a wild throw! Luckily for the A's the ball goes straight to another fielder and as the runner is rounding third he throws it to home to make the third out... but he overthrows it. Game over Orioles win with a walk off bunt!

I give Racetrack Park a five star rating because it is clean, with nice facilities and playgrounds.

Great spot to take the littles. Some equipment could use some work but love the park and the deer pen near by.

A deer had a medical problem. After reaching out we were told the vet had already been there and it was being treated! Yay!!!

So beautiful with the deer and picnic area. Nice place to take family and kids.

Nice big park with multiple play areas, Frisbee golf course, live deer, baseball diamonds, and a tractor pulls track.

They have white tail deer you can look at

Fantastic park with lots of playground equipment for the kids, deer to feed and a disc golf course.

Has a nice playground and deer to watch as well as several baseball diamonds and soccer fields.
