The Mocha House - Boardman

It's hard to know what to rate the Mocha House. If you're someone who doesn't like awkward layouts or large menus, then you definitely won't love the vibe inside Mocha House. If you're someone who doesn't like driving into strip malls to get a meal or a cup of coffee, then you're REALLY not gonna like it. But against all odds, this place just rocks. Maybe most known for their cheesecakes, Mocha House is a counter service restaurant-bakery-coffee house. It has its own unique charm and knows exactly who it is. If you don't like it, you best be warned it doesn't care. It's not for people who don't get it, it's for people who do. I've never been there without it feeling a little hectic, but I've also never had a bad dessert there either!

In this Second part of my review,,, I'm not too familiar with the morning staff much, but some I will see before they leave early afternoon... I mentioned Mia in my last review as she was one of the people I had the pleasure of getting to know first... I would never want to leave anyone out or want to offend any other staff members... Truly all staff here is Awesome, including Emily, Emily(Smiley) Alyssa, Merci, Bing Bing, Jordan, McKenzie, to some that are new I don't know well enough yet, and a few I don't remember names.... As a member of the Family here and a true patron of this establishment,,, I will never stop recommending this place to everyone for everything it is.... Sincerely, Jim Gatti

Enjoyed a delicious reuben lunch. Sandwich so big could have easily split. Others had awesome looking breakfast. Great coffee. Friendly and helpful employees. Desserts looked amazing but didn't have room for dessert. Maybe next time.

Mocha House consistently serves quality food, coffees and amazing deserts! I've never had any issues with my food or service and I've been a loyal customer for 30 years! Get the California cheesecake. Thank me later!

We had a lovely lunch here, today. The staff people were friendly and eager to please. The menu is incredibly giant, and I think they serve breakfast all day, any time. We had their blueberry lavender lemonade, the Big Mocha Burger with fries, and a melted ham and swiss sandwich with mac and cheese. All of the food was delicious. But their incredible cheesecake, fruit tarts, carrot cake, and other bakery specialties were drop dead phenomenal. There are tables and chairs, booths, and very comfortable areas to gather with a few friends or even for a family birthday party (?)... I will definitely be back!

Came with a large group and the staff was very accommodating and quick. We all loved our food and the desserts looked amazing. We were regularly checked on and the staff was friendly.

The food is awesome! The wedding soup, we can’t get enough of! The sandwiches are so good! The service excellent and everyone is so friendly, this will be one of our main places to eat now.

Some of the best food around. And the desserts are fantastic. I almost always get the burger as it is better than almost every other restaurant.

This is a must try local spot! I have never been disappointed in any meal I have purchased. The prices are great and there is a large variety so the picky eater must not worry! The cakes are an absolute must try.

Mocha House is my guilty pleasure and my favorite pick me up all in one. I work in the Tiffany plaza, and it’s difficult not to go daily for the food, cheesecake or coffee.

I also love all of the baristas, especially Rich. Today, I went in and ordered this (photo attached) fantastic May Special they have currently, a Peanut Butter Cold Brew with Chocolate Cold Foam. I DEFINITELY recommend trying this, tastes like a Reese’s. My coworker agrees.

Anyways, I guess I go to Mocha House quite frequently… because Rich asked “no milk substitute?” Because I forgot to ask for oat milk 😭🤣 I was flattered that he remembered, and my stomach thanks him. Honestly, All of the baristas will make you feel welcomed and important like this, not just Rich.

The entire staff is literally incredible, the food is great, the drinks are creative and the cheesecake and pastries will make you waddle out fat and happy.

100% recommend.

Alyssa was amazing with my birthday cake order, exactly what I requested plus more! She went above and beyond with customer service. She listened to what I wanted and offered suggestions that turned out to be perfect for the recipient of the birthday cake. Cake was delivered on time and design was beautiful. Will definitely order from Mocha House again and highly recommend to others.

After another cheesecake bakery lost my daughter's birthday order, the staff here came to my rescue and they were so wonderful about it! We arrived 2 minutes before they closed and they were absolutely friendly and kind, which after a terrible day was just wonderful for us. And the cheesecake was FANTASTIC!
We will be getting our cheesecakes here from now on.

The breakfast is better than mine. I make a fantastic breakfast, but they win. Fresh ingredients. Fresh breads. Delicious coffees and specialty drinks. Don’t eat anywhere else, or you will be teased for your bad life decisions and end up in rehab.

Good coffee. Stopped here because of a friend's recommendation. Well worth it. Prices are reasonable and the quality of the service is exceptional. Don't be afraid of a long line of people. They will pump out the orders faster than you can decide what you want to get. If you are trying it out for the first time, grab a menu by the cash register before standing in line. It is much easier to read. Make sure to get a piece of cheesecake before leaving. You won't be disappointed.

Love this place! We live in the Cleveland area but come to Boardman for service on our car. We always stop at the Mocha House for lunch or breakfast. I had the Mocha House omelet this time, 3 meats and cheese. The home fries are the best. Space is limited inside and you go to the counter to order. Service staff is always friendly and service is quick. Plenty of bakery available too.

The Mocha House is a great place to eat and get coffee. The atmosphere is nice and pleasant. They also have amazing cheesecake! I would recommend a visit here.
