Starlite Cafe

02/13/2024: We went in tonight for a late dinner and were so impressed by the service that was provided by our waitress, Paige, and our cook, Mike. They made us feel so welcome and the Club Sandwich and Bacon Cheeseburger we ordered were phenomenal. I got my Club toasted with garlic butter and it was one of the best clubs I’ve had in my entire life. The bacon cheeseburger was cooked to perfection as well. We didn’t need boxes! Our drinks were kept full and the cook even came out of the kitchen to make sure we were satisfied with the food he made. The waitress socialized with our little guy as well and got him to come out of his shell. We wish we had more restaurants that had the quality of service we received today.

Stopped in on my way through and I was pleasantly surprised. Great food, great service and love the cozy atmosphere. I ordered the Starlite Omelette and it was amazing. Definitely recommend stopping here if you are in the area! Also the bathrooms were very clean and the signs made me laugh!

At first I wasn't sure about it cause the people seemed clicky but our server Trista (I think) made the whole place become better. I love hard workers with big hearts, they make the world a better, easier place. she is the only reason this place was review worthy.

Nice little Cafe in Vale. Very nice to be able to stop here after driving a couple hundred miles on highway 20 where there is virtually nothing. Biscuits are outstanding and so is the pie! Little local local joint where it's common to hear the servers greet customers by their first name. A must try if you're passing through!

I travel every where and if I'm going through Vale Oregon and its meal time I'm stopping at the Starlite Cafe, especially if it's breakfast
Best chicken fried steak around !! Friendly people , small town where farmer come in for morning coffee. Good place to eat!!!

Such amazing people the waitress are always checking on you, and if your having a down day they always know how to make you smile, and the food always comes out warm, and the atmosphere is so amazing. I LOVE coming here

Great diner! Very homey atmosphere. Our server Casie was very sweet and attentive, and my coffee was never empty! Huge portions for a decent price. The homemade pies looked delicious, but I was so full from my meal I didn't have room for dessert.

Trucking through as I had many times over the years and never stopped. But this time I had a craving for a burger and not from a chain restaurant.
This cheese burger was absolutely amazing! So juicy and smothered with freshly cooked grilled onions.
I will definitely stop again on my next trip through.
Thanks to the waitress too for being friendly and pleasant to deal with.

My husband and I were out on a drive and ended up in Vale. We had heard about this place for it's pies. We had finger steaks and a rueban sandwich. Only complaint is the corn beef was such tiny pieces, it didn't really feel like a sandwich and the bread was toasted not grilled. It all tasted good. The service was great. Just one waitress and the place was very full. She did an amazing job.
We will definitely be back

Very good food, might be worth the hour and a half drive, to try different dishes. Plus homemade pies!

Superb food quality, staff is easy going, friendly and on top of everything, never had an empty cup of coffee. Overall excellence in customer service, I will be going back. Thank you for opening back up!

Great in a little town of Valle Oregon. We shared our meal cause the portions were large. Best onion rings I've ever had. Very cool little bar stool in center of the restaurant. The beef is farm fresh and you
can taste the difference.

Great service from a friendly staff. Food was homemade excellent. Just want we had hoped for to break up our trip.

When we take a trip out towards vale we always make sure to stop in and get something to eat for lunch or breakfast! Service is always nice and food at a good price too!

Great small town dinner. I literally stayed the night in Vale just so I could go here for breakfast. Just good, simple food for a good price.

We ate a chicken salad and it was very delicious. Would recommend this place if you are on a trip through this small town.

This is a nice little country cafe. Newly renovated. I didn't see a bacon cheeseburger on the menu. So I asked the waitress if they made those. She said that they could make me one! It was really good too!

Good homemade food. Excellent breakfast and service. Ate there for dinner too.the ribeye steak fingers were tender and tasty. Great hand breaded onion rings..

Great food… must say the best we have had in Vale, OR. Would definitely be worth your while to take a drive and check out their great menu! I had the Rueben it was absolutely amazing!
