Great hotel, with really cool staff. It’s over 100 years old and maintained in perfect condition. The rooms are all updated and well appointed, except the bathroom in our room was really small (I could wash my hands while still on the toilet). Also included $15 coupons, per person for breakfast at the adjoining restaurant, which was excellent. Quite a few locals go there for breakfast and Sunday mornings the place is on a waiting list.

The bed in my room was particularly comfortable. My room was small but adequate with a decent size bathroom. I enjoy the style and the patina of the hotel. But keep in mind this is a very old building with all its charm and its defect. Keep that in mind as things may need a little bit of help here and there but overall it is excellently maintained. The lobby is very nice and comfortable to lounge or to work. The restaurant to take your breakfast is very reasonable and with the 15$ credit, you can actually get some real food. The new Lavazza coffee machine in the room is great. I would stay there again. It is very refreshing comparing to the cookie cutter rooms in regular hotels.

We’ve stayed at the Peery before and they were kind enough to allow us to do our engagement photos shoot in the hotel. The photos turned out amazing. The hotel has such a fun old money vibe.

The rooms are a bit cramped, the king sized beds take up too much space for the room size, and there’s no refrigerators in the rooms and drinking water is hard to come by. The location is great, walking distance to quality restaurants and downtown entertainment.

I booked the room for NYE and I was pleasantly surprised at every turn. The building is an old boutique hotel, and Peery leaned into the history and 100 plus yr old property. It’s true the rooms and bathrooms are smaller than newer properties, but that’s what old buildings offer, and I appreciated the feeling of traveling back in time. Bed was comfortable, staff was friendly, and room was clean.

Such a great historic hotel. Location the Best. Room very clean, and service never overlooked anything.
Having to pay addtl. For Parking was a bummer -
The only real complaint - they use one ply bathroom tissue! It was annoying, I was embarrassed for them. This takes a star away. The Italian coffee was good - get your bathroom tissue to the same level.

The lobby was gorgeous, the room was small but very classy and clean. I particularly enjoyed the restaurants. Everyone I met was very friendly and attentive. One of my favorite hotels I've stayed at.

Mainstream flagship with small town feel…. This hotel has great mystique surrounding the history of it… both rooms were very clean, updated and some of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on….Staff was very friendly and offered many suggestions for dining and shopping. Convenient location in downtown.
I would highly suggest this for a downtown stay in Salt Lake….

I stayed here about a year and a half ago. The customer service was great, great amenities, very upscale hotel. I would stay here again!!

I think most will agree that basic service is something that has been mostly lost, much less outstanding service.

Peery was a welcomed experience in hospitality. The staff makes you feel like they are genuinely happy to have you. It is so refreshing.

Overall it was great! Did NOT know we'd be paying 60 bucks to park overnight due to the convention going on a block down. Would have been nice to know beforehand! BUT the room was comfortable, the shower great, and the neighborhood fantastic. Just ... beware of parking!

My husband and I decided to go on a short get away and decided to stayed at the Peery Hotel. The location is awesome. Walkable to so many great downtown places. I also loved the retro look and vibe, it was like walking into a 1920's Era place. The front desk was so friendly and helpful. We loved the huge bed, big TV, nice toiletries, incredible restaurants in the hotel. Only con was the room and bathroom are on the smaller size but the ambience makes up for it. I'd definitely stay again. Such a cute place!

Excellent customer service, friendly, caring, helpful and accomodating. The front desk was so nice and checked us in quick, they even upgraded our room when we checked in! The hotel is beautiful! The furniture and design throughout added even more charm to the atmosohere. The room was comfortable and I loved to see how they kept so much of the old structure and quirks from such an old building. The entire hotel was very clean too! Beautiful architecture on the outside and a gorgeous view of downtown from inside! Within walking distance of so many different things to do and see and places to eat. Get breakfast at the brunch joint connected to the hotel if you can, it was great!

What a beautiful place!!! I loved walking into the lobby, and seeing how big and beautiful it looked. The employees there were all so kind, and took wonderful care of us! We stayed for our birthdays this past week, and we will most definitely be staying again!! Our room was huge, the bed and pillows were so soft and comfortable. It was so fun to get away for a bit, and be able to relax here. Thank you guys so much for the amazing experience.

It's a very cool and historic building and hotel. It's also haunted! You can read hundreds of reviews from various sites about it. Awesome atmosphere at this place and it's right downtown. Note* it is an older building, rooms and bathrooms aren't huge, but it's the atmosphere at this place that's unforgettable.

This is a great old historical hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. Easy to get to from airport (10 minutes) and close to many eating and drinking establishments. Very different feel from your traditional hotels, with great service and location.

Beautiful hotel. It keeps some of the historical design elements but is thoroughly modern. I enjoyed the lobby and the room. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large. I did have an unusual experience thought. I stayed in room 247 and starting about 11 pm, I heard children laughing and playing. I turned off the news and the sounds dissipated. But the noises came back about 10 minutes later. Later I was watching “Golden Girls” and heard the children again. I looked outside my window and in the hallway but could see no children. Then much later I heard construction noises around 2 am. It woke me up and I could have been a dream but I got up and looked out the window and down the hall again but the noise was gone. Then when I was fully awake I got a brief whiff of a solvent. Then it went away. Very strange. The rest of the night was uneventful. I was a tad irritated at the noises, but the next morning, I sat in front of the nice fireplace in the lobby to do some work. Then I found online that others have heard the children and the hotel was supposedly haunted. I don’t believe in ghosts but the events were strange. Anyway, the hotel was really beautiful and despite my eventful night, I would not hesitate to come back here.

Cool antique boutique hotel! Loved the staff and the bed was Hilton comfy!! Lobby and vibe are fun and memorable. The views vary by room and some are not the best so if a view is important to you ask for one with a view. 100% highly recommend and I would happily stay again.
