Love this spot! Just needed a spot while we waited for reservations. We ordered the Coco Loco and the Spicy Mezcal Paloma. Both were great but the coco loco was mmmmmmm! Definitely a great spot. Service was dope, shout out to Colby! Also the DJ (it was Friday) was on point! See y’all soon!

Beer Zombies is a cool little bar surrounded by great food options, like a really nice food court. They have a good selection of beers and the staff was very friendly, I’ll be back.

Cool bar inside a food hall. Great place to grab some unique food and a few drinks. Coco Loco drink was a nice rum and coconut beverage.
And they show the UFC fights! which made this venue a fun stop.

Glad I stopped in. Place is super unique. Half dozen places to get food from and when you sit and press a button for a drink a person from beer zombies comes over and takes your drink order. One of a kind.

Savannah and Forrest took great care of me. Selection of beer and whiskey is okay, only complaint is i wish they had a larger selection of canned beer like other beer zombies locations

This review is for the bar only. I love the restaurants at hall pass, the food is always great. However the bar situation is a hot mess… entertaining… but messy. Im looking at whoever is leading/managing the bar and not directly looking at whose working the bar. Bar Management/Manager or who ever is wearing the pants over their…tighten up bar practices & training. Heres my issues or I guess tips for navigating the bar. First, only order from their cocktail menu. I ordered a Kentucky mule once, and had to return it three times because it was a whiskey sour I know it was a whiskey sour because I asked what they were putting in it… and even told the server what’s in a Kentucky mule (to be fair, she did ask… but also argued that that was “my version” of a Kentucky mule.) Second, if you’re really into beer and want to try beer from “beer zombie” they may not always have it available. I’ve seen it on their menu a couple of times, and even enjoyed an IPA from them …but it was awhile ago.I asked a server once about when they were getting more cans in and she had no idea what I was talking about and was almost annoyed I had brought it up. They do otherwise have a great local selection of craft beers. Third, My last interaction happened this past weekend. A friend of mine came in and ate lunch and sat at the bar. There was a kinda awkward miscommunication between the bar staff. We ordered a third and final drink from the sever, we had been there for almost 2 hours. Another server came up, and asked for our order…since we already ordered, we let him know that we had been taken care of. He said we needed to order food.. I told him we did, we ate during our first round as our plates had been cleared from the table (we had been there awhile) He mentioned we needed to order more food or we can go to “about time bar & grill” and mentioned Utah’s liquor laws… which is great because I know lots of people stop in… my friend and I have lived in Utah for almost 10 years and have drank at all sorts of different places, I asked the sever to give us a minute. He walked away and our initial sever walked up, I asked him if we did have to order more food? He said no, because he saw us eat earlier. He turned around and let the bartenders know we were good. 15 minutes later (the bar was surprisingly empty for a Saturday afternoon) I decided to just pull out my card, ANOTHER server walks up (she was very nice) and asks if we need anything, we let her know about our drinks and she mentioned we had to eat. I told her we had eaten, our trays had been cleared and the other sever had given the bartenders the OK… somehow there was still confusion about our drinks between the bar staff and servers. The server promptly served us our drinks… as they were made already but put off to the side. The three issues I mentioned were all separate occasions… at this point I get a little annoyed, but also I am very entertained. I give bar management a “C”, for there to be that many issues on separate occasions, ALL FROM DIFFERENT STAFF.

Such a strange place… you are not allowed to physically walk to the trash can with a beer in hand! I was educated about this rule by management, but they were nice enough to remove my beer from my hand to place it back where I was allowed to drink it, 5 ft away at a table, so I’ll give them 2 stars. Apparently it’s a Utah thing, but I’ve lived here 6 years and have never encountered that so just an fyi to anyone who enjoys standing or walking with a beer in hand, like following your kid around, you’ll have to go elsewhere.

3rd time going here and there’s an obvious lack in Professionalism. Don’t go here to watch a sports game. You’d be better off going to another bar.
