Pine Marten Campground

Pine Marten campground was great! It was my first time ever camping there. I arrived 9/2/23 around 3am then left 9/3/23 around 10am. It drizzled most of the weekend and was overcast but we managed. There were a lot of RV’s that came. Each campsite is limited to 6 people and two cars or a car towing a trailer. There were sheltered toilets and then water spigots dispersed throughout the campgrounds. Lots of trees were being cut at this time for something but i feel it didn’t affect my experience much because there was still plenty of greenery. The lake is a walking distance away and is beautiful even in overcast weather. I can’t wait to come back with my dogs.

Great Place for Camping, I think I was the only 1 there with a 35 foot class A motor home. Pulled into site #2 fairly easily, may be a little tricky but doable with a 5th wheel. They have bear 🐻 lockers for a reason, use them. There was a bear that came into a tenters camp and messed alot of stuff up from what I heard from the camp host. Lots off space for each site, lots of trees, lots of firewood laying all over the place for the taking. Fishing at the lake, was GREAT. I caught 3 smallish Trout, all in about an hour and a half. The camp host couple were very friendly and Helphul. I will be returning.

I've been coming here since I was a child and recently went again after too many years away. It's such a great spot! The sites are spacious, a mix of sun and shade, and a super short walk to the refreshing water. Everyone is friendly and it's just a lovely getaway.
We were only a bit bummed to discover they've gotten rid of the flush toilets and instead replaced them with the (often stinky) vault toilets, but hey, it's camping and at least you're not digging your own hole 😉

We just got back from Pine Martin Campground, We were nervous about going because of covid19 but the campsites are very spread out so you have a lot of space. The lake if you plan to paddle or kayak also has enough space to do those activities safely. The beach areas are VERY crowded, so we spent no time lounging on the beach. we were either in camp or on our boards. Period. We did see the campground hosts disinfecting the tables after campers left so that was good to see. Bathrooms were cleaned twice a day. I wore my mask in the bathrooms because that's the one space where there are lots of people, with no ventilation and nobody wearing masks. If you are going to hang out in camp and paddle it's a good spot, If you are going to lounge on the beach it's very crowded so be aware of that. The campground was full every night. The store, bar and restaurant are open and all employees and campers were wearing masks. Firewood is 7.99 a bundle. Paddle Boards, canoes and kayaks rent for 12-20 per hour with 2 hour minimum.

Very beautiful relaxing place!

We spent 4 days at this campground. The staff is very kind and very professional. Maintenance of the camp is outstanding for this kind of campsite. The access to the lake is easy and the lake has many spots to have a quiet time with a family. We liked it very much.

Great campground with decent size sites. Hope they get bear lockers installed one day. Very difficult to hang an ice chest from a tree.

I love this place!!!! I think they should make a locals pass so the locals and family members near by can camp sooner and get a pass to get a certain camp site first!

It was beautiful, quiet, and a good place to bring the family for a fun father's day weekend camping and fishing.

My favorite spot while i was up north.. Try it, u wont regret it.. if u do go download map cause the service is bad.
