Lake Alpine Recreation Area

Amazing place to visit in spring or early summer when the snow has not completely melted. Visited in June and most of the lake was still frozen. There was lot of snow around lake. Must visit place.

We go camping every year at Spicer and we drive down to lake Alpine for a day visit. It's very peaceful besides a few youngsters here and there but the lake is beautiful and has plenty of spots for you setup and relax. The water is much lower lately so we really haven't been jumping off the rocks. This is definitely a nice place to take the kids and my dogs love it here too. Thank you mother nature ☺☺

We came here for the first time in Mid June of this year and wow, I am in love with this place. The view of the lake, the pine trees and the melting snow is just refreshing. I love that we were able to enjoy snow during summer time 😁

Great high alpine lake for camping, fishing, and paddling on the lake. Winter time is only accessible by snowmobile or cross country skiing. Worth a day trip or stay for camping. Nearby restaurant and gift shop.

I've never been to Lake Alpine but I'm so o glad I made the venture out. I walked from the lake to the top of inspiration point. Talk about breathtaking. It's a moderate walk, but worth every step.

Beautiful. Not too many ppl. Kids had a great time. Highly recommend!

Alpine Lake is, as it's name implies, a beautiful alpine lake nestled against a backdrop of lush green pines and surrounded by mountainous features.

The lake offers a relaxing space to do some hiking, camping, picnicking, BBQing and fishing.

Located right off of HWY 4, access to the lake is very easy. There is a large parking area. The lake itself is very clean and makes for a pleasant location to watch the sunset.

I was there when there was a storm system blowing through, which dusted the area with a light blanket of white snow that made for a spectacularly secluded day.

Very beautiful lake and surroundings, but you might need to hike to a place where water is clear. A hike around the lake is probably about 2 hours and it worth it.

Beautiful lake for any kind of paddling. Does get busy on the summer weekends. Best in morning to beat the crowds.

A must see if you're up that way. Pristine, not crowded, lovely. Boating with canoe or kayak easy.

Places peaceful quiet see eagles some time has a lot of osprey good fishing clen water all around a must go
