Lovesssss lefty’s. I ordered the seafood fried rice, crab ragoons, & chicken fried rice. The BEST fried rice; look no further. The only thing I would say I don’t like is that I couldn’t call is because I don’t stay near lefty’s. I am still going to support and spend my money with my people. The restaurant is nicely designed as well.

Me and my family traveled from TN and found this gem on YT. The atmosphere was pleasant to wait in as they make all the food fresh to order. Music playing, chatter, and of course the staff coming to check in. Leftys has some amazing food. My kids had the chicken lo mein, they both agreed that it was delicious and it even reheated well.

Me and my husband both had the fried rice, and egg rolls. The voodoo style is a hit 🙌🏾 and the Crab Rangoon are delicious. We also had the Saint Paul sandwich very good and unique. The portion sizes are something to note also. Its a lot of food. We all enjoyed our food and definitely plan to come back when we visit again.

Hands down some of the best chinese food I've ever tasted. Voodoo fried rice and crab rangoons have so much flavor!!!! Huge portions too, half order is more than enough for 2 meals for me. This place is a must try!

The food here was great. Rice was smoky and delicious and lo mein had bell peppers and a slightly sweet|sour sauce on the carrots. A different take that we really enjoyed. Staff was also very kind when we got stuck due to a tornado warning.

Loved the food! Great service! Order was ready promptly. I ordered the chicken St. Paul sandwich, wings, crab Rangoon and chicken fried rice. Will be returning soon

I live in southern Illinois and work in the St. Louis area a lot. I googled St. Louis fried rice and this is what came up and I do not regret stopping by and driving the extra miles to try their food.. it was the freshest and best tasting fried rice and lo mein that I’ve had. I will be recommending this place to others..

Food has definitely upgraded since my first time trying last year. I'm impressed by the presentation of my food first of all. Secondly, the buffalo wings were were still crispy when I received my order 😋 and third, the rice was moist and not extra greasy!

Oh every-time I visit Lefty's it's a whole vibe! From the moment I pull up, although there's always customers - finding a parking spot is smooth and easy. You can either park on the street - the side of the street - or the back parking lot.

I ordered their Vegan Shrimp with rice and veggies - plus with a side of their Hot Braised Sauce with is DELICIOUS! I couldn't wait to get home to take my first bite because the aroma coming from the bag - OMG I just wanted a bite for the road! Lol ok - back to the food, it was super fresh and steam came out the moment I opened my lid. Oh I loved it! So the first bite - exactly what I knew it would be - beyond flavorful and perfect! The rice is seasoned well and not overpowering- oh and the veggies - my fave bc it's like how in the world do you make veggies not only have a crunch but seasoned like immaculately! And the vegan shrimp - when you try it, it speaks for itself. It's crispy, but not dry - if that makes sense.

I called in my order and the woman working the register greeted me the moment I walked in the door. For sure a welcoming experience!

I just love Lefty's and love when I'm on that part of town because I ALWAYS stop there for a good meal!

Ample parking…service was phenomenal….the food delicious….prices are reasonable….when I come back in town I definitely stop by again.

My first time trying and I will definitely be back!
I had the St. Paul sandwich and pork fried rice. The sandwich was delicious, flavorful, crispy and big. The rice was fresh and tasty. This place gets busy, so call ahead if you can. Excellent customer service from Marvin! He knew how to handle everything and everyone with grace. It can be stressful trying to take orders, give out food and take phone calls at the same time. He did all of that with confidence, conversation and a smile. You can’t go wrong with trying this place out!

This restaurant was absolutely 💯! From kind customer service to clean establishment (unisex bathroom was surprisingly really clean as well) to delectable food. The lady (I think was the owner) was working her butt off, gracefully. She carried herself professionally and provided great customer service all the while having to train, run the front, and help in the back. It was a pretty busy time but didn't seem like any longer of a wait than any other chinese restaurant. The Hot Braised Cauliflower blew my mind how good it was! I bought some more to take to go. I'll be back to buy some sauce lbs. We dined in so we got to vibe on some good music too💜 Love it!!

I ordered through the website and it was very easy to order when I got my food it was hot and delicious I had chicken fried rice, crab Rangoon, and chicken wings. The driver forgot my soda and I called and Chan said I will give you a credit plus have the driver drop your soda off now that's what I'm talking bout!!! This place has a cult following! There is good reason for that following - this place is delicious! It’s like your traditional Chinese restaurant but better. It seems like they don’t cut corners as obsessively as some of the Chinese restaurants. For example....I didn’t notice an extra charge for napkins. The orange chicken had nice pieces of chicken meat with the wonderful breading but the meat is ample! Some places give mostly breading but not Lefty’s! Thank you Lefty’s.

My meal included fried rice. It was properly salted. Not too much, not too little.

I’m ordering from this place again next week! I can’t resist! Plus my child is upset I went without her. Ha!

This restaurant is great food is always hot and people are always pleasant. The restaurant is really clean.

Voodoo rice and noodles 🍜 is pressure .I'm a advocate for black owned businesses and this black owned business is pricey however it makes up for that with the great people and food .

It's black owned! Ppl were nice, the food was excellent. Heavily seasoned rice and St Paul. I liked the vibe, they had a board to place business cards, most were also black owned. Call ahead or place order online, I ordered at the counter at 3pm on a Friday and it was a 50 minute wait. Worth it though

Lobster rangoons were not the best, the seafood fried rice was excellent!!!! Didn’t need anything. Perfectly seasoned and made to order Would definitely get again, soon

Service was dope and food was hot & fresh! Also, food tasted AMAZING! We love this place. It will be a stop for us, every time we're in town.

St. Louis' first black owned fried rice establishment. We got there and they told us it was going to be a two hour wait. It turned into a three hour wait but it was worth the wait. We met the owners Chan and her husband Lefty. This was there third day opened and so they were still working out some kinks especially after someone came in trying to rob the place earlier. We as blacks have got to stick together to keep places like this around.
