Aces High Saloon

Aces High is the best! I traveled here from Boston for thier new years eve event with Midnight. I was so stoked to see they have a vegan food menu and what I got was a 10/10. The place is pretty small and the sound wasn't perfect with the bands - vocals were low/amps cut out but it was so great and so much fun. Can't wait to come back if I'm in the area again.

Aces High is a go-to for a good time. I've never had a bad experience here. The staff is beyond excellent, food is top-notch (vegan and omni options), drinks are plentiful and reasonably priced, and the music is always killer. And it's safe; I've never felt more comfortable and safe in a bar environment. Staff and patrons alike keep the place friendly & welcoming. Get yer backsides to Aces High!

I flew in to "Slit Lick City" (thanks mighty Athenar") to attend a new years eve show at the saloon. I had one of the best times ever. The sound was excellent and the place in general is metal AF. The place was Sold out and the bar was crowded but I didn't wait too long the bar staff was doing a good job considering all the people. They have cheap PBR and shots. They have many other good beers on tap as well. I didn't have any food but im sure its good as well. Thanks Aces for the amazing night I will never forget. Cheers

If you are looking for a place to support your local bands this is it. Art all over the walls, a pool table and some pin ball machines for entertainment aside from the rad live music obviously ;) this place has personality and is definitely THE heavy metal bar of Salt Lake City. Couldn't recommend more! Expect a cover charge usually no more than ten bucks in my experience. Drinks on the cheaper side which is great! I haven't tried the food but all my friends recommend it and it sure does look and smell good coming out of the kitchen 😁

This place is awesome. Great friendly staff. We saw Left To Die(a Death Tribute band) last night. All the openers absolutely shredded. The music and sound were killer. Everybody was cool and there isn't a bad view in the house. Great band posters, flags and stickers all over the ceiling and walls.. Can't speak to the food or drink since we didn't order but I did see a grilled cheese sandwich being carried out to someone that looked very tasty..

Can't believe I slept on this place for three years. Amazing food (vegan and omni, Alec made sure we were happy), solid drinks, great staff, friendly regulars... Everything I want in a local haunt. And everything I've been looking for in a "metal bar" (they have a Neurosis Times of Grace flag hanging from the ceiling, ffs).

Aces is one of the coolest places to see shows weekly, get a good beer or eat some bomb food! Anyone who hasn’t been should go! Check their site for shows too!

Best place in SLC for metal music.
Had a incredible experience yesterday and I highly recommend that place. Wherever you from, go and try that bar. People are friendly and the bartenders are so kind.
Music is good and live music even better.

Btw food is simple but incredibly tasty.

This is THE QUINTESSENTIAL metal bar, the staff and owner are some of the friendliest people I've ever met, the food is off the wall amazing and the atmosphere is home to metalheads, punks and rockers alike! Aces hosts monthly shows from local acrs to big name touring bands....plus pinball and pool...the place is a diamond in the rough and quickly becoming a Rock N' Roll MECCA!!

Aces is the best bar in SLC! I absolutely love their food, they have tons of vegan options. The staff are 100% the coolest people in the city. The owners are incredible humans. Every show they book is amazing.

If you're visiting Salt Lake you have to stop by Aces.

When you walk in you know it's going to fit the bill. in my opinion Nunslaughter and Possessed will be hard to top, but i'm looking forward to seeing another show here some day. I don't live in Salt Lake anymore but when I heard this show was coming I made arrangements because it's well known to those in the loop it's the best music venue in town for an intimate visceral show.

They were playing old school kung fu movies while wu tang was on. Hella dope and women’s restroom was well lit, stocked, clean and cute ☺

In SLC for the first time ever and I stopped in here three nights in a row.

One of the best rock clubs I’ve ever visited in the states. Great staff reasonably price drinks and the food was really good. Hail Satan.

I couldn’t wait to take a bite before I took a picture but let me tell you, this place is a game changer.

If you’re sick of the same food and mediocre service of other bars and restaurants.. RUN not walk to Aces High.

Coolest staff I’ve come across to date and the taste of the French dip will blow your mind! So glad this is an option for us now. The way the work with the Vegan Daddy meats is unreal.

You want loud music. You found it. You always here about those awesome holes in the wall with drink and eats you consider a treat. Come down and see. Just remember the great shows have a door charge fee! It's worth it to me!

So grateful to have discovered this absolute gem of a place. Staff are beyond welcoming, the atmosphere is super rad, drinks are priced super well, and the FOOD! The carnitas tacos are the most authentic I have had in the greater Salt Lake area. You’re missing out if you’re not here!

I wish I knew about this place a long time ago so I could have been going more often! I haven't been to any events yet, but it looks like it'd be a good vibe considering how nice the staff is. Highly recommend the French dip... it's the best I've had in Utah so far. They have a taco Tuesday and took my food allergies seriously. I'm not Vegan, but they have a pretty bangin vegan menu as well
