This is a great park to walk the dogs or take the kids to play. There are plenty of paved walking paths and several picnic tables to be able to take the entire family when you go. The children will love the playground which includes slides and swings.

Cute little neighborhood park. Perfect for walking a dog or a nice quick nature walk (kid and adult friendly) The gem of this park is adorable little garden in the center- complete with a gorgeous mosaic hummingbird table. Beware: if you aren’t used to the desert, you might be tempted to stray off the path. Almost every plant has thorns! Stay on the path and don’t touch the trees, bushes and plants. 😍🌵

It's a beautiful, natural desert location with walking paths, and some grassy areas for exercising dogs. Very scenic. I wouldn't let small kids or dogs run free there, due to abundant Cholla cactus and native wildlife. Great views of the mountains.

What a gem of a park. Grassy play area, a wonderful playground and butterfly garden. And the trails are incredible. You can take a different route every day!

This is our families go to park. We very much enjoy it's small intimate size and walking our pups on the nature trail.

Cute ,equipment was in nice shape, grounds seemed to be take care of. Playground is split between sand and rubber matting. Has a cute flower garden fenced off. Didn't look tended to but it's also summer lmao

Small, well-kept park with paved trails (and some unofficial unpaved trails amongst the cactus). The bathroom is a porta pottie. The big yea for this park is the abundant natural desert flora, which is sadly rare in many Arizona parks, including "jumping cholla," and others sure to catch your attention if you bump into them. Coyotes and other wildlife also inhabit the area. It has beautiful views of the mountains -- overall, a hint of what the desert could be if humans hadn't settled it as mindlessly as they did. It has a small fenced, shaded area for peaceful retreat with a book loft (still legal, I guess) and nice children's play area, picnic tabled and benches. Only downside is that the small grassy area at center of park is almost always filled with mostly friendly but (shame on owners) off-leash dogs which makes walking our own small leashed dogs an uncertain event. This park is a gem, though. Limited close parking is usually ample. OK to park along residential road nearby also.

I love this little park in Tucson and recommended it for just people by themselves or the whole family in general. It has a nice playground for the kiddos, and a whole walking path around the area, there's even so trails to walk in the surrounding desert a little bit. I used to come to this area as a kid when they were first building it , we made a fort in a old burnt roof 1 room Adobe building which was someone's old writing studio which we found out from a house that used to be in that desert area, because we had to get water a caretaker took care of the remaining homeowner which was the oldest person I have still met to this day she was 103. Good memories of this park area

First time at this park and it's a beautiful sanctuary. Not a huge park for tons of walking but definitely a hidden neighborhood gem! Even has an urban garden/ botanicals.

I love this park. It's on a high plateau making it a great place for sunset and mountain photos.
I see a lot of photographer's when I'm here. I use the park a couple times a month for my meditation group. It's pretty quiet and you can take in all the sounds of nature. There are 2 green grass areas, and I also love the secluded hummingbird garden. This park is a gem. Fyi after dark it is pitch black here. It is not a lighted park.

Lovely little park I took my grandkids to. Clean, well maintained, and a wonderful butterfly and hummingbird sanctuary that would be lovely to re- visit in a few weeks when there's blooms. Nice paved path that meanders through the 53 acre park. We will visit again.

I practice my colorgaurd activities here often! Nice green grass in the front with desert landscapes in the back. As long as there are no other dogs there, it's nice to play fetch with your pups as well!

This is a really lovely natural park in my neighborhood (literally 3 minutes's drive from me--I could actually walk to it if so inclined--and it would probably be better for me if I did :-)). There is a small "developed" area with grass and some playground equipment. There is also a paved walking path. But the best part is the nonpaved wash areas. If you go in to this natural area you can see many, many birds and other wildlife. Definitely worth another visit soon, I am sure.

It should be named Beautiful Cactus Resource park. Lovely mini hike trails and actual paths! Also one grass lawn, a few picnic tables, a quaint tho struggling garden enclosure, big kid and little kid swings and a playground structure. No riff raff, justgood vibes. Easy to social distance
