Fish Thyme Restaurant & Bar

Enjoyed our meal at Fish Thyme. We have been here several times already. The main restaurant’s ambience is quite nice, the second room could use some decorating to make it cozy, it’s quite bland in comparison. The menu is really good with lots of selections. Our food was delicious! The only thing that was a bit odd was the fish and chips order. The fish was more like fish nuggets than what we are used to getting, but it was fine. We will definitely go back again.

The food was fabulous. Cole was a fantastic server. And his recommendations were on point! The atmosphere was great, the only thing I would add would be a little music and a bit of sound dampening. Great experience every time!

Always the best experience, from service to food. Absolutely, everything on the menu is a great choice, I have never had a bad drink, meal, or desert.
If you want to be able to have a seat and not have to wait make a reservation at least a week ahead. Otherwise, you can try to be there at 5 pm and get one of the bar seats. If you get there after 5 pm, you will have to wait about 1 1/2 hours without a reservation. FYI, there is typically a line to get in at 5 pm, so get there before 5 if you don't have a reservation.

Everything was great! My table had Mussels, Crablegs, Teriyaki Salmon, and I believe the pineapple cake. Also took a bowl of gumbo to go. It looks and smells good, haven't tried it yet. Also the Hurricane was kickin and yummy 😋 I am glad that I asked for the apricot mint jelly on the side instead of on the lamb chops. But I am just not a fan of either ingredient. I hate I did not take pics there. I am adding the few I have from my left over to go, but they do it no justice so I almost don't want to add. I got full from appetizer Mussels and bread, so barely ate my meal. I was surprised at how many fries were still left over after we all had some. Great food and portion sizes. Great look and feel inside. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I wish I had my waiters name. He had dreads off to the side and was so attentive and welcoming.

My new favorite seafood restaurant. Alligator bites, Stuffed Salmon, Lamb Chops, and the Strawberry pound cake was all simply amazing. Our server was super amazing and I will request her every time when I go there.

This was the fourth time going here, but this time, the chef did not play around. I brought the family and mother and law, and she loved it. I had the stuffed flounder, and I can't complain about anything. The food was full of flavor, and the stuffing (crab meat) was on point. Plus, you can never go wrong with a lemon caper beurre blanc sauce. On the healthy side, i had a side of kale salad. My wife had the baked lobster tail and fried shrimp, which was also great. The owner was there having dinner, so I don't know if the chef was trying to show out, but the food was great. We also had oysters, and you could taste the ocean in them, so that's means they were good. I am a guaranteed customer and I have to come back for the fried alligator.

We attempted to go here over without a reservation and unfortunately it didn’t work. But we went back last night for our anniversary and it was worth the wait!

We started with the coconut shrimp and raw oysters. My husband had the flounder while I had the salmon sorrel…it was so good. I could have used a little more basil but it was excellent. We had the pineapple cake for dessert. We would have been fine with a half of what we had…the portions are very good sized. Drinks were good. Service was good. We will be back!

A wonderful place to get an excellent seafood dinner. I’ve had numerous fabulous meals here. There trout and horseradish encrusted grouper I are a 10+. Great food, great atmosphere , and worth going to.

After reading all the great reviews & looking at their menu, I have been wanting to dine at FishThyme for quite awhile. My Date & I came in for dinner. This restaurant is very busy, so reservations are recommended.
We were pleasantly greeted by the hostess, and seated promptly.
For appetizer's we chose Baked Oysters & Crab Stuffed Mushrooms. Excellent! I also had a Kale Side Salad with grated Parmesan Cheese.
For our entrées, I had the Horseradish Encrusted Grouper. My Date had the Blackened Texas Redfish.
Our sides were a vegetable medley, Brussel Sprouts, Radicchio, Carrots & Corn.
Everything was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly! We both were in awe of how great everything tasted.
We have to give a special salute to our amazing server, Brianna. She was very polite, professional and just a Sweetie! She was there for every need & want we had. If you are passing through Acworth & want an over the top dining experience, drop in to Fish Thyme, you can thank me later....

Absolutely love this place!
The service is always great, the food quality is consistent and I am pleased with the pricing for the service and ambiance. A lot of places have high prices but nothing to back it.

The Arnold Palmer’s are always sweet to perfection, and please leave room for dessert! Always homemade and so so good.

Also something really worth noting; they take their reservations serious. Never ever make you wait if you have one and that’s worth ALOT!

I decided to take my wife to Fish Thyme to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had a great experience.

I had a reservation, and we were seated immediately upon arrival. Our waitress, MJ, went over the specials and took excellent care of us.

We started with the crab stuffed mushrooms for our appetizer (highly recommend).

For our entrées, I had Horsersdish Encrusted Grouper with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. My wife had the Stuffed Salmon with smashed sweet potatoes and creamy spinach. Both our dishes were delicious and more than filling.

It was a little loud, but it was a full restaurant on a Saturday night. It was a great overall atmosphere.

Omg the food here is amazing. Best Calamari I’ve ever had. Crusted flounder was extremely fresh and delicious . The service was excellent. Do Not over dress, 95% of customers are in jeans and sneakers. I can’t wait to go back. Warm pineapple cake to end the night for my birthday.

I nearly had an heart attack when the owner, Veronica, greeted us at the door. I've been told about her Instagram page which it absolutely beautiful thrn to meet her in person, i was lost for words. She beautiful inside and out. One of the best sophisticated, elegance with a touch of class restaurants I've ever been too. My husband also loved it. The rest rooms were clean. Our server was so sweet. We're bringing our family next

Loved visiting our aunt and uncle in Georgia! They showed us one of their favorite spots, and I can see why! The brushetta is honestly the best we have EVER had! The fish thyme special was to die for paired with their parmesean truffle fries 🤤❤ the staff was warm and welcoming and took their time explaining the specials to us! If I lived here, it would be my favorite spot too!!

My first experience was amazing. We had a large party but the staff was more than accommodating. It was a late dinner, after 8pm but food was still fresh and delicious. Staff worked together to meet our needs. I don't eat seafood but found several options. Dessert.. .toasted pound cake.

This is fine dining done right! We were a party of six with a reservation for 6:00pm. When we arrived we were shown to our table immediately, even though we were a little early. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and beautifully decorated. Our waiter, Trent was excellent and attentive. We ordered a few appetizers and then we all ordered a fish and two vegetables, except for one, and she had the lobster roll. Everything was so delicious! I can’t remember ever eating seafood that was better. Even by the ocean. The portions were generous as well. Well done!

I will definitely dine at Fish Thyme again. The service was impressive. Our server was Manwell, and he was very professional and helpful. He made great suggestions and was attentive. The restaurant was clean and a good atmosphere. The food was delicious and well seasoned. We had appetizers, main courses, and dessert.

I've always loved this place since they've opened. The food is consistently excellent. The staff is friendly and food comes out like clock work. If I want a little slice if heaven I will treat myself to fish thyme. I had the lamb chops which was on their special of the day menu ... it was of course amazing!

First time at this establishment, and my wife chose it based on reviews she read online.

Let me cosigner reviews. The atmosphere was exceptionally warm and cool at the same time.

Our server Kim or Kimmie I think took Supreme care of our wants and needs and always timely checking in on us w/o being overbearing.

The food was exquisite. I had the horseradish encrusted grouper entree with garlic mash and spinach and I cleaned my plate.

We WILL be returning and you NEED to go!

We haven’t been here in a couple of years. Service was impeccable. The fried alligator tail as an appetizer was delicious. Portions are large. This is a great little place for a special occasion dinner. Make reservations tho.
