This is such an authentic and amazing place. The owner told me that it had been in her family since it opened and that she didn't have anyone who wanted it when she passed away. It was very sad to think that a gem like this will disappear one day. Please if you are in town support her business before it's gone for good.

Had a lovely time here! Beautiful historic shop with old fashioned charm. Had a reminiscent chat with Cora Lou and she shared how her great grandfather owned the shop and it's still a family business. I love that she skis 2 -4 days a week! Walked away with some fun treasures and treats. Highly recommend and will be back!!

I was so impressed by the authenticity off this store. I was even more impressed by the level of service from the woman who served my wife and I two wonderful cheeses. Despite only purchasing small amounts, she took the time to carefully wrap the cheeses and explained the history of the store. I wish I could frequent this store often, but we are out of state. Please visit this store and buy something!

A wonderful, old timey store with an interesting selection. For the first time I found some Finnish chocolate for sale in the US! (Geisha and Wiener Nougat.) Also, they had Marabou chocolate, which I was told they always have in their selection. I'm a happy Finn today! =D

I have come in here since I was a child. I loved getting candy and unique treats they had. There is always stuff from local Colorado food distributors such as honeys, salsas, syrups teas, fresh cheeses, drinks etc. The prices have remained very reasonable over the years. It is a family owned venue and they have always been such kind women. Very easy to get to in downtown Georgetown, on the main street. Has street parking and parking in the lot behind the building.

Wonderful shop. So much history and a charming woman running it who made it special for our kids. An absolute gem.

What a wonderful small market with a variety of unique items. We were lucky enough to visit when the local peaches were peak ripeness. The staff was friendly, helpful, and personable. We would definitely recommend visiting!

Owner was very friendly and knowledgeable! My husband's family is Swedish and she knew all the kinds of traditional foods that we were looking for. We will definitely be back for the holidays!

We stop every time we come to Georgetown. As the oldest continually operated store in town, it maintains its nostalgic atmosphere. The last two years we have had them cut steaks to order and they have been fabulous! The ladies who operate the store are descendants of the founder and are very friendly.

Family owned and operated since 1883, this place is an absolute staple in the town of Georgetown. The shop owner was kind and helped us find everything we needed. No fresh produce here, but excellent imported Swedish goods alongside numerous nonperishable caned and packaged goods. A little over standard market prices, but quite fair for the size and location of the shop on main street. Come take in a small slice of historic Georgetown!

Products from Scandinavian countries, candies, cookies, but also meat and cordials. The keeper has had the store for a long time and they bring in special products during the holidays.

Great atmosphere to shop in super friendly staff and owners are such a delight to have a small chat about their history in town I shop here often and enjoy finding their unique Swedish cheese and other items that you’ll never find anywhere this is a definitely unique store it has a lot of European items that you won’t find anywhere else local.

We were out sightseeing & stopped to buy drinks for our group. This place was perfect for that and a few groceries for us to cook back in our room for dinner
