Walk-in ski rental. The staff in particular Ms. Codi, a fellow Texan, was as helpful as one could ask for. Considering we are inexperienced and we made a ski rental at a different location (Breeze in Frisco) a few days prior; this experience was night and day. Though they were as busy if not busier than their competitor, the process was smooth and it didnt take hours as it did with their competitor. Not to mention that with Breeze we had done everything a day prior to arrival, payment and registration. Here we were walk-ins. Codi’s friendliness and attention to detail was awesome. She received me at the register and walked us through the entire process. Even allowed the kids to pick their own helmets.

This store is so homey and very friendly. Codi and Nicole were awesome with our party of 5. They gave us so many tips on how to snowboard and ski. This place hired the right girls. Definitely would recommend for any rentals.

Genuinely can't say enough good things about the owner, Kathy, along with the rest of the employees at Epic Mountain Sports.

I called 30 minutes before they closed to see if they could get me a wax to have my board ready the next morning. Not only did they have my board waxed and ready at 8AM the next morning, but they did a FULL TUNE UP as well, and it was for an extremely affordable price.

If you want gear, to get a tune-up, or to rent, Epic Mountain Sports is the place to do it in Winter Park.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff, good prices and great selection! I learned so much about ski boots! Codi was fun to work with and learn from. And the guy who helped my son pick out some skis to demo was awesome too!

I've skied a lot of places and I always rent because I only ski 2 times a year. Once just after Christmas, and then a second sometime in February. I'm a Taos born skier and always used Christy Sports, which in Taos, is Cottom's. Those guys are always great and so I seeked out Christy Sports in Winter Park. The problem was that they were already sold out. I then moved on to Epic Mountain Sports and what a superb choice that turned out to be. The girl that hooked me up on my skis and boots did an amazing job. It took two tries, but she nailed it on the re-fit. I wish I knew her name to give her the credit she so deserves. I left feeling like I want to buy the boots she hooked me up with; they were perfect. We'll definitely will be back at Epic Mountain Sports - Winter Park, Colorado.

By far the most friendly and knowledgeable staff in town. Sarah helped us get our skis last winter and our bikes last week. The equipment was is great shape and we had pick of the litter when it came to demo skis.

Super friendly staff. They were able to turn around a ski tune on our skis in less than a day!

This is my go to place in Winter Park for anything gear-related including bike, AT ski, snowshoe rentals. They recently replaced a broken derailleur on my bike, repair cost and timing were completely reasonable. They were very informative about different options for the repair. They are very friendly and helpful.

Great winter sports shop! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of merchandise and rental equipment. Easy in and out to get what you need.

Bought ski boots today. STEVE was helpful, professional, listened, knowledgeable, on point, not pushy, took time to answer all of what I viewed as detailed questions sometimes even twice. Thank you. (Not sure this posted so posting again)

This place saved the day with great prices on my Oboz hiking boots and socks and my wife's Columbia boots and socks. The staff is amazing and the black lab was very helpful. Shop everywhere...buy here!

And don't forget to grab a beer upstairs at the ditch.

Great experience renting skis and snowboard. Reservations made online and easy pickup and return, highly recommended!

You must choose this company. They are the most accommodating and reasonable business I have ever dealt with. Save money and get personalized fitting renting from them and not at the ski resorts. We had an issue come up with one of our skiers and they went out of their way to accommodate us. If I ever go on a skiing trip again, I am coming to this town, renting from Epic, and then skiing at my destination. They have helmets and goggles to rent also and they are way cheaper than the resorts.

Ski rentals for family ski trip. Online reservations made it easy. Prices comparable. Staff was friendly when we arrived. It was peak time but process was quick and efficient for our family of 4. Equipment was in good shape. I usually have shin pain with rental boots but none this trip. These were the most comfortable rental boots I have worn. Not sure what is different but it works for me! Thanks!!

GREAT EXPERIENCE! I called Epic Mountain after one run because my boots were killling me and the very sweet receptionist told me she could get me in within 20 minutes.
The boot fitter, Squirley D, fixed the issue with my boots in about a half hour and got me back on the mountain to try out the padding he added in.
He told me to come back at the end of the day to get them glued in long term. This plan made it very easy for me to explain what I needed.
He listened to all of the observations I had about the fit of my boots and made a perfect game plan to fix the issue.
I highly recommend him as a boot fitter. He told me he is just staring out, but his listen-to-the-customer organic approach is great for people like me, who are working their first pair of ski boots. He definetely has a lot of experience under his belt and you can tell from his knowledge and recommendations.

Amazingly friendly staff who catered toward our every need of fitting us with excellent, high end demo skis for our days on the mountain. Reasonably priced, super easy to make a reservation!

Loved the excellent women providing demo ski recommendations at the shop. They gave fantastic advice and had tons of knowledge and experience about the women’s advanced lineup (it’s not a common experience to get good women’s ski advice!). They got me on a ski I loved and were eager for feedback. I’m bummed I didn’t get to provide the book report in person, since they weren’t there when I returned, but if you see this, thank you, the skis were perfect!

Everything you need for your day on the mountain. Great prices for equipment rentals and a friendly helpful staff. ~$35 for board, boots, and helmet with a discount for reserving early.
