Georgetown Jerky & Emporium

Thanks to owner Max for a wonderful walk through his eyes or should I say his taste buds of great jerky. He does it right by only selling product that he himself learns their process and sampling for taste. We had a good time visiting with Max and talking about our love for basketball while picking out great jerky.
John Wooden would be proud.

This place is very quaint and extremely organized! I've never seen so many wild jerkeys! I happen to get the beef style which was the Smokehouse gourmet brisket straight whiskey jerky and let me tell you, it seems dry at first but it melts in your mouth and the taste is amazing! It's sweet and spicy yet had a hint of whiskey flavor! One of the best I've had!! The owner was a treat also! Thank you for such a great place and great products!

Visited this place over the Thanksgiving weekend. The owner was super cool and friendly. The selections of jerky was impressive - not only different levels of spicy, but they have all sorts of meats (alligator, kangaroo), and the owner was knowledgeable about all of it. They also had a great selection of licorice and other candy bars and fudge. I will definitely be back!

Well laid out and organized shop. The gentleman behind the counter knows his product well and even went out of his way to show us the Jerky that was Soy/Gluten free. They really have it all here! Super friendly and welcoming, definitely will be back !

Walking around Georgetown we decided to stop here and take a peak inside. The gentleman behind the register was very friendly and greeted everyone as we walked in. They have a big selection of beef jerky as well as other exotic meats. I ended up with the Yak jerky which was delicious. It has other non-jerky gifts you can purchase as well. If you're in the area, this has to be one of the stops you make. Highly recommend!

We loved this shop. The owner was very kind and friendly. Has his shop organized and well maintained. Many options amd one of the best licorice selections I've ever seen...besides his section of jerky of course. Even some candy options for those not seeking jerky, local buys.

I love this store! They have a great selection of products. Not only did we get jerky, but I also bought a hand knitted hat that benefits the local animal shelter, and handmade Christmas cards. I enjoyed my conversation with Jann, she is so welcoming and nice. I will definitely make a point to return! We all liked the first jerky we sampled, and I look forward to tasting the rest of our goodies. Great store!

We were happy to find this place. This is a locally owned business and the owners work at the shop themselves and you won't find a more organized, fun, interesting, and eclectic place! We bought jerky, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Next time you are on I-70 be sure to go further into Georgetown and checkout all the neat stores and restaurants and be sure to stop by here as well!

I miss my venison jerky from AL but I've found some really good game jerky here in Georgetown with this place. What a great place to stop before guanella pass or moving on to your next area of exploring down I-70. I really liked the buffalo and elk jerky I had. The guy there is also very nice, we both agree spicy is best and they have a lot of options for spicy jerky. But if you are into milder they also have plenty of selection there too

A great little shop that sells items from vegan jerky to ostrich jerky! The owner was very kind and welcoming. I would come back again the next time I am in Georgetown!

We love taking the family here whenever we're in Colorado. We will absolutely drive out of the way to visit. They have so much more than jerky but their jerky selection is unrivaled. The wonderful people who run this charming shop are also unrivaled. We've stopped at many little shops in our travels but this one is hands down our favorite.

The guy that owns this shop is super friendly and he has the largest variety of jerky I have ever seen. Also check out the old bank vault at the back of the store, it is super cool.

Cute historic market right across from the park in downtown Georgetown. A wide variety of snacks, sweets, and jerky. They specialize in jerky and have all flavors and varieties. There is a maple bacon bark candy that is made just for their store only. Friendly staff!

Tiny store that sells mostly jerky with a few other food items. Used to be a bank a long time ago and still has the old hand-painted safe inside. Super nice guy runs the place. They've got every kind of jerky you can think of. Pick up some Jeff's Famous, and you won't regret it.

This place is great ! An amazing selection of jerky, and also some other delicious snacks like chocolate. The owner was very kind and helpful, and I want to go back soon for more of their spicy jerky.

Very nice place, super friendly. Great selection of jerky, salsas, vegan jerkey, also lots of beef jerky and special items like jerky made from Alligator, Elk, Bison, Pork, Salmon, Turkey, Chicken and more. Huge selection of Vegan meatless and mushroom jerky. Highly recommended!

Crazy selection and by far the best jerky I have ever had. The guy was so nice too, I am definitely going back next time I’m in CO for now gonna order online

Max and Jann are amazing people. We enjoyed our time speaking with them. Very friendly staff. As for the jerky absolutely amazing. Love the different types and the variety offered! We will defiantly be back to visit. Thank you again max and Jann, you made our trip amazing
