I have been to this establishment many times, and just recently a few days ago. The staff and the doctors were wonderful. We chatted and had a few laughs. Dr Golstein and Dr Stroebel were great. Great music in the procedure room. Kindness and warm blankets from the nurses. I don't understand the negative reviews about this place. I would recommend this establishment to anyone.

Today I had my upper GI done with Dr Goldstein and my nurse was such a amazing woman and I told her I was going to be a very hard stick because of all the weight I lost and she was up for the challenge. She didn't hurt me not once and when she couldn't get it she had two more nurses try and we finally got it! Tbh this was a great experience especially with Northwest hospital staff they were all amazing and compassionate and friendly people.

They were busy, so there was a wait, but that's not their fault. I was in yesterday, 3/20/23 for an endoscopy and colonoscopy. I literally could not have asked for a better experience. 100% of the staff were professional, friendly and well rounded. The I.V. was virtually painless, everything went amazing. Dr. Goldstein is a great guy as well as all of the staff there. This was my first ever interaction with a G.I. Dr. and it couldn't have gone better.

The Tucson Endoscopy Center was light years ahead of the similar services available in my area. The staff was very helpful and congenial. This is important, simply due to the fact it should be the norm anywhere, but those coming here certainly are bringing with them inherit discomfort based upon the overnight preparation. The interior was clean, excellent privacy oriented areas and overall communication with us about our status. It's nice not to be rushed out of the recovery area! The only problem encountered was discussed with a supervisor a few days later. A satisfactory resolution was reached.

10/10 Stars. Every step of the process was efficient and professional. The staff was exceptional. All of my nurses were sooo kind and thorough. Bertha, Julie, Donna, and Dr Stroble were absolute rockstars. They made me feel comfortable and confident in their care. I cannot say enough nice things. As odd as it sounds, I had a truly great experience at this facility and while I hope I don't need another EDG, I would highly recommend this practice to anyone. Thank you so much for you kindness and quality care.

Although acknowledging that they were running late, because I know that can happen, it gave me even longer to interact with the excellent staff, doctors and nurses. All, without exception, from Sophia at the front desk, to Ashley my nurse, to Drs Goldstein and Anesthesiologist were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable and competent. When you're there for a while you can't have enough extra warm blankets! Thank you Ashley.

All the staff here were kind and caring before during and after procedure. I cannot say enough about how we were treated by each person we dealt with.

I just want to start out by saying that Bertha, one of the nurses was very kind and amazing, and Dr. Bortuzzo was very courteous and professional. That’s the only reason I added an additional star.
I had one of the worst experiences at this office and I’m very upset. I’m not the kind of person to let one thing in a medical setting upset me. I myself and in the medical field and things happen. I get it. But almost the entire experience was very awful.
It all started with the front office. We had an appointment scheduled for probably about 2 weeks, and the afternoon before the appointment—so less than 24 hours—they told us they we owed $1500 upfront.
I’m not upset about the cost, because it is was it is, and it’s typical for this sort of thing. But they didn’t have the courtesy to tell us in advance?
When we mentioned it to the receptionist the day of the appointment, she ignored us and was very dry with us.
That day they were running three hours behind. Again, I’m in the medical field. I fully understand that things happen. But we do our best to keep our patients updated.
My husband later overheard one of the nurses saying that they had emergency cases from the hospital that they HAD to fit in that day.
Again, I completely understand that; no problem. But they in NO way communicated this with me, and were rude to me when I kept asking when my husband was going to be seen.
A simple “I’m sorry, we have emergency cases we had to fit in today, we’re running behind” would have sufficed and I would’ve completely understood.
Instead they just said “things happen, right?” and simply brushed me off. I mean, we are paying you $1500.
I was really nervous and anxious that day, and my husband has been through a lot—sure, that’s not their problem, but a little empathy and a little courtesy goes a long way.
I also did not appreciate the anesthesiologist. Dr. Bortuzzo very professionally informed us of the results.
Afterwards, Dr. Strobel stopped by my husband’s recovery room and told him “you should get your money back” due to a failed surgery. I know he didn’t mean anything by it, and I know it was supposed to be a joke, but we’ve been through a lot and his “joke” was in poor taste in my opinion.
As he is not my husband’s gastroenterologist, he has no place speaking to us about his results.
I obviously don’t expect anyone to bend over backwards for me, because that’s ridiculous.
All I expect is 1) to be informed of my patient before more than 24 hours before the a appointment, and 2) just to be informed of our place in line. After all we are paying you $1500.
Maybe they just all had a bad day and it was poor timing.
In my opinion, they need better office manage.
