Such a cute coffee shop. The employees were both very friendly and helpful. You can tell that they really enjoy what they do.

I got an Iced Hazel Rush which was delicious! I will definitely be returning.

Great place to work from. They equip the tables with plenty of outlets within reach. They also broadcast the wifi login everywhere. Unusual for a coffee shop, they played edm music on a speaker that was a bit too loud. They have fresh local cinnamon rolls come in about twice a week.

If there’s one thing SLC isn’t short on, it’s coffee shops. There are so many around the city and they are all top rated. We decided to try Roots because of its high reviews, and it definitely held up to the online clout! The baristas were incredibly friendly and just seemed genuinely happy. The inside is super cute, very well decorated and quaint. I got the iced white chocolate raspberry latte and it was so amazing!! The flavor profile was perfect. This was the best coffee we had on our weekend trip to SLC and I highly recommend it! 10/10!

Nice, smooth coffee. Served with chocolate covered espresso beans for a fun touch. Service was fast and friendly. No drive thru, but easy enough to park on the street and run inside for a morning coffee.

Something to know about me - if I have an hour jn a city before I need to catch a flight, I will 100% walk 29 min past three Starbucks to get to the coffee shop ranked best in town the last several years. And it did not disappoint! Cute ambiance, really nice staff, delicious coffee.

Fun place with cool story and tasty unique coffee drinks. I live close by and this is a great go-to spot. Modern top floor seating. Can echo in winter with windows/doors closed. Would be nice to see more pastry or sweet/savory options. But no complaints. Great spot and vibes!

What a fun time! It's in a cute little location. 2 stories with lots of seating upstairs. Parking was a bit crowded but there was enough room for everyone that came in. The coffee was excellent. Also their merch is so cute and I loved being able to support a smaller business.
The Mexican mocha was delicious and some of their menu is sugar free dictated by the * on the menu boards.

What a fun find. Great customer service. Got to chat with their staff. We just don't see that much anymore so it was nice when they asked questions about us. And she gave some good tips about the area. RV friendly for those that love GREAT COFFEE with service. A+++ for us.

This is a really cool coffee shop, feels relaxing to come and do work or homework. It has a 2nd story for a hangout. We got a dirty chai latte, it was so good!!! Maya came out with Chai syrup that has a spicy touch and with an espresso taste so good. It also depends on the coffee bean; well, this place is one of the best Dirty Chai latte in SLC that I've tried. Parking is super limited, so if you're lucky you'll find a spot in front of the place. But it's worth the stop

Roots Coffee experience indeed!! Super clean, quaint coffee establishment! Staff was super friendly and created super hot, delicious coffee and green tea beverages. She even offered sample chocolate covered espresso beans!!
There is upstairs seating, lounge area, and balcony with an upstairs bathroom!
And this place is next to Ruby Snaps Fresh Cookies!!

As a business that often needs to take out of state clients to trusted places for coffee, I need to look no further than Roots Coffee & Co. I've had nothing but great feedback from some of the, shall we say, particular clients I've interacted with. If they are pleased, anyone should be happy here. Most are big fans of the horchata latte. Solid choice.

Excellent customer service and atmosphere. I really like their coffee and my wife loves their matcha latte, so far I haven’t had a beverage I haven’t enjoyed. I usually grab a bag of coffee to brew my daily coffee at home as well, their Brazilian Roast is out of this world.

It’s amazing new coffee shop in the area, and their signature drinks are unique especially the Mexican mocha. They also have amazing setting in the second floor with outdoor patio. Really nice for meeting or just doing your work. Definitely will go there a lot. All the barista there nice and they always welcoming.

The cutest coffee place I've been to! The place is super welcoming and the coffee is the best I've ever had.

I had a Caramelo and it was so fluffy and tasty. I will absolutely be back before my trip ends to get another!

The atmosphere is a complete vibe. From a small hangout room, to a nest chair to a mini bar area the place is so cute.

The service was amazing. We were able to talk with them so easily and they made the best coffee recommendations. They also gave us local recommendations for different shops and things to do (they had a hand written list).

With all that being said; the coffee was hands down one of the best I had. We waited around 10 minutes for our coffees to be made (how it should be) and we were the only ones there. We got to watch our baristas make the coffee from scratch and it was a great experience.

10/10 would go there again.
