Bring cash! I am a very picky donut connoisseur and Richards is in my top 3 favorite donuts to consume (and the only one in Bend). The best pastries they make are their classic donuts, they are so fluffy and fresh, you won’t be disappointed. Their chocolate cream filled is incredible!! They don’t use the generic custard that most places use, but they actually make a delightful cream filling that is so light, it’s lovely! I have not found another cream filled donut that can rival theirs. My absolute favorite right now (which is pictured) is their fruit pastry. It also features their light cream filling and the pastry itself is SO flakey. I cannot speak for their other pastries or cake donuts as they aren’t my favorite in general, but I feel that way about them at most bakeries.

We came to pick up some donuts for Fat Tuesday 5 mins before they are closing thinking that the doughnuts will be not as fresh like in the morning but oh my goodness 😋 we took all different flavors and all were delicious and fresh 😋 it was so nice surprise to see the young man put some extra mini donuts too! We will definitely keep coming back 😁🤩 Thank you 🙏

Yum yum yum. Walked over from the rv park during our stay. This place is amazing. You can’t go wrong here. I have not had doughnut this good in maybe ever. I would say this is a must if you stop into bend. Make sure you have cash!!! No cards accepted.

The best donuts in Bend, if not the world. Huge selection of different types of donuts (yeast, cake, French cruller, twists and fritters) and every one (well, I've tried most) perfectly executed. Friendly staff, patient while deciding. Fortunately for my waistline, but not my tastebuds, I live far away and only get here on visits to Bend, but it is the first place I go after seeing family.

Beautiful selection of donuts! Friendly service and I really loved the cinnamon crumb cake donut. We didn't try the puff pastries but they looked wonderful.

These are the best donuts I have had in a long time. They are super fresh as well and more were being made as we bought ours. Wish I had gotten pictures, but they were gone too soon. The apple fritter was lightly crispy on the edges and soft in the middle with lots of apple...just as it should be. Reports from others in my group are that theirs were super yummy as well. Definitely want to remember this place for next time.

We are staying at the RV park next door and when we saw the reviews for this place the night before my husband set an alarm for 4:30 so we could get donuts. I am not a fan of sweets usually, but these are the most lovely donuts. They only take cash, but people complaining about that are ridiculous. I'm sure that has a lot to do with why they are able to keep prices more affordable. I love this place.

Love this shop! Just perfect the wonderful mom and pop classic donut! We had the chocolate glaze donuts, cruller, and cake donuts and they did not last an hour in our hands. Loved how light and fluffy the donuts are and the girls behind the counter were so kind, friendly and helpful!

So glad we stopped here on a whim! It looks unassuming on the outside but such fantastic and fluffy donuts, and the donut holes are like little clouds of heaven. The ladies there were also incredibly nice and very easy to chat with, and both Mai and Kham (sorry if I butchered the spelling) were just absolute sweethearts to my wife and I. Very clean and accessible too, the only downside is that we don't live nearby!

This place is filled with super yummy treats. It is very hard to choose what you would like. My husband and I ended up ordering three different donuts and splitting them. Everyone of them were delicious. And I think the maple bar was the best I have ever had and my hubby agreed. The freshes, light baked delight of maple goodness. I definitely want to go back next time we are in the area! I would be dangerous to my health if I lived close by this place.

Best donuts in Bend and a local institution. Been coming here since they first opened over 25 years ago and were the only true coffee serving, sit down Donut Shop in town. The ownership has changed but the donuts are still light and chewy with a nice light crisp fried crust and never too oily. It's not the hipster or fancy donut stop but it's the place I love taking my family to.
