Newport Avenue Market

Newport Market is place I always feel welcome and the employees, who are also owners, make an effort to say hi and remember my name. It’s a shopping experience there, freshest produce, great cheese and meat selection, huge beer and wine selection. Beyond the top notch food, Newport Market is a huge part of the Central Oregon community. I was lucky enough to bump into the founder in the produce aisle and he shared they opened the first store in 1976 in LaPine. True local company that gives back in many ways to the community. A grocery store has the opportunity to be a mainstay to the members of its community, and Newport Market has nailed it. Thank you to the Newport Team!

I don't know how they fit such an incredible selection in such a small place. A really fun place to shop! There's a lot of hard-to-find items in the oils and vinegars, a great selection of canned and bottled brews, unique produce, and a great bakery and meat section. I don't live in the area, but if I did I would shop here often.

What a great market! Lots of fresh produce, wines beer selection, amazing meat market, friendly and helpful staff and to top it off fresh sushi!

Nice little market with a good amount of selection

This is an amazing grocery store! What a find! This market has an incredible selection of all foods! From a great vegetable and fruit department, with seasonal produce, unique options, some prepared to many types of the same ingredient.

Cheese selection is very nice, meat and seafood was fresh, high quality and value, to an amazing beer | wine selection and a in-store liquor shop, amazing housewares department and more.

Stores like these are becoming more and more rare. If I lived closer, I’d shop here all the time.

This is by far the best (albeit most expensive) grocery store in Bend. They consistently get unique and rare produce, and their meat department is impeccably stocked and presented. Their bakers are also criminally talented. Even though even an upper-middle class person would still go broke shopping here as their only grocer, I still hesitate to give them anything less than five stars.

What a neat place! Wonderful looking produce. So much variety and color. The bakery is awesome as well. Tried the jalapeno Swiss bagels, a meal by itself. We'll definitely be back!

Been there twice so far. This place has such an eclectic variety of things. We ate a fruit tart from the bakery, potato salads from the deli, brats from the meat counter, bought a local gin from Sisters in their liquor department, etc etc... They have local bar soaps, a huge beer selection, dishes, cookware, household items, and more. Totally dig this place! The staff were super nice, even fun... even while this place was really busy!

Very large choice of good food

we have been supporting Newport market for years now. they are always kind, professional and super helpful. We love the friendliest and the products they provide. in fact, we even recommend them in our Airbnb for short term rentals Go check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Super friendly staff, great deli, unreal beer selection. The liquor store is a hidden gem, so much selection for the amount of space they have!

Love the selection of food, especially the beef, pork and chicken. Luca helped us out today and he was probably the nicest person we’ve met in Bend.

I had the most wonderful experience here the tea was amazing and I hung out for hours using their Wi-Fi which they were completely fine with. Beautiful atmosphere friendly laid back staff, And just around the corner I found by the river there's a little cave, somebody had put a bunch of sage in. Bend is wonderful town I look forward to visiting again

Best times to go are 7-9 am and 1-2 pm. Great local grocery with specialty goods. Good to check them out first as they have knowledgeable, friendly staff who can find things for you. Best salmon, Schooner Bay.

I wish I lived in Bend so I could shop here everyday. I’ll just have to fly back next time I need more groceries. Maybe Mr. Foot can help me in the everything nice aisle.

High end grocery store, prices match the product selection and general high quality.

I have been shopping here for years. Wonderful staff! They have items you will not find in other markets.Great meat department,excellent produce a wine selection that can't be beat. Every time I go I pick up fresh sushi for lunch. I live in south east bend but it is definitely worth the drive.
