I had called them and asked for a referral to Southwest legal aid. Of course, within I believe a day I got a phone call back from someone that works there and she and I had a quick conversation and then she said she would be happy to do the referral which she did and I got to speak to an attorney Very quickly.
The other thing that I had called PCOA was to try to get some information on any services that I might be able to be eligible for.
Veronica helped me and guided me through which resources to apply for and she also set an appointment with me in the next few days to go over the specifics of my medical health. What I could do what I can’t do can I make meals etc. at the end of the conversation she said well I’m gonna put you on the list so I think that was really great. We’ll see how it goes but I really have gotten just wonderful treatment from PCOA. I appreciate them so much .

The staff is very down to earth and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised with all of the resources available to help seniors. They are literally just a phone call away and will do what is needed, guide families and be there during confusing or difficult times.

Kind, courteous service. Was helped tremendously by the gentleman that answered my first call. This was regarding signing up for Medicare B. I made a second call to get the fax number of one of the local Social Security offices. The lady that answered went above and beyond to furnish the fax number. I recommend them 100 per cent. (Can't find the dang symbol).

My friend needed help with some personal items for health issues. They were able to help us out!! We picked them up today. The lady was so nice and helpful!! She put the items in our car for us!! Pima County on Aging has been such a great resource for us!! We just moved to Tucson.

Now, in a serious crisis.
I remembered this organization from several years back, mentioned to me by a former neighbor.
In complete crisis mode I dialed them up today.
A very kind, knowledgeable, helpful young man, John came to the rescue.
Taking his time talking with me while accessing Resources.
Due to John's proffesional diligence, one of the resources John supplied me with has come to my rescue.

Pima council has been a lifesaver literally. I was able to get a lawyer. A caregiver that is excellent 👍 community rides, fair housing, they have been very supportive.

Friendly, helpful service, no long wait time, and I came home with the written material I needed. Alex is a rock star!

Pima Council is such an incredible resource for Seniors and their families in Tucson. They have many contacts on their website as well as their Broadway office. Friendly and always helpful!

Everyone is very friendly. I especially appreciate Irene.

I'm very pleased with the volunteers one of whom helped advocate for my dad when he was in a care home. He wanted to return home to live and this advocate encouraged him to do so.
Dad was able to spend the final two years of his life at home due to this advocate.

This is a wonderful non profit. I have worked for so many non profits and PCOA is one of the best. The service offered to our aging population is much needed. And the overall advocacy is top notch and person centered. I think one of the best things about PCOA is that they employ a number of older adults who offer a wealth of experience and perspective that cannot be gained any other way but by living life.

You are one stop Clearing House for any information regarding older adults in Pima County. If you need to find out anything concerning elderly, come here first! If the information cannot be found here, it probably doesn't exist. Also provides services through contractors such as housekeeping, Elder Care, Etc. Highly recommended

Selecting a Medicare supplement is a bit of a maze with little trustworthy info to be found on the internet. These folks help, are patient and walk you through most of the steps.

The folks that work with this organization are friendly and helpful. They have plenty of information to help seniors find services available to make their lives better and easier.
