Mona's Danish Bakery

Without a doubt one of the cutest and tastiest pastries in town. Authentic favorites from the northern Europe, but also a touch of American options. I would always recommend the danishes, and keep hearing a lot of good things about their chicken salad. Located at the busy area, yet offers a calm environment. Lots of parking available.

Old world feel. Charming. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Nice selection. Almond cookie is delicious, as is the organic bread.

Well worth checking out Mona’s, hadn’t been here in years. Stopped in for lunch and got the special, half a sandwich and some soup. Minestrone was delicious and the turkey bacon sandwich was piled high with awesome turkey on fresh bread. All the baked goods looked great, I got some Danish Kringle which was very good. Will definitely try them again.

A lovely small business owned and operated by a fantastic and welcoming team. Popular with locals, they offer counter orders and they have indoor and outdoor seating available. The breakfast burrito was large and delicious. You MUST order some of their pastries to go, they are authentic, fresh, and packed with sweet goodness

I live just down the road from Mona's and it was so good. I got a veggie croissant and the croissant was nice and buttery. My boyfriend got the $10 breakfast and he said it was good as well.
We took 2 pastries to go, cheese Danish and a cannoli. The cheese Danish was AMAZING! The Cannoli had a really sweet cream in the middle and it was pretty good as well.
I will definitely be back here, and would recommend going to this bakery if you are in the area!

Small family run bakery... great baked goods and great breakfasts and sandwiches! My sandwhich was around $13 but when I got it, it was large and came with chips. I ate half and saved the other half for later so I felt I got my money's worth!

The best bakery. It's a hidden gem. No favorite everything is amazing. Must go try if you have never been.

I love so many of the delicious baked goods here!! Quiche is outstanding!!! Coffees are delicious, and the snail rolls are to die for!!!! Warm with butter prepare to swoon!

Visiting the area and stopped in for breakfast. Excellent food, pastries and service. The coffee is terrific! The staff is friendly. Seating inside or out and plenty of parking.

This Scandinavian treasure beautifully and authentically handcrafts our limpa breads for the Swedish booth at the annual Tucson Nordic Fair.
The Swedish Princess cakes and Midsummer strawberry cakes are exceptional crowd pleasers at our events.

This was our first time. What a nice place to sit down and enjoy some great food. It's quiet and you can have a conversation. Great job Mona and family.

I've lived here 50 years and I know nearly every bakery, Mona's has the best pies along with everything she serves. But the pies are above all.

The baked goods were amazing. They were very accommodating, as we needed the Danish earlier than they usually opened, but they were sweethearts & opened early enough for us to pick up our order & make it to our Christmas Celebration. The Kringles melted in your mouth. My goodness, it's well worth the drive to get there! You will not be disappointed! A must go to & try!!

Amazing. I always judge a place based off their club and the number 2 here is epic. Best lemon bar I've ever had and incredible macaroons. Great customer service, great bread, real turkey and not that stuff out of a package.

The breakfast and pastries are fantastic. This is how a decent breakfast place should be - small, cozy, cooked on the spot with great ingredients. Coffee is very good as well...and the almond cookie is maybe my favorite cookie I've had. AND they know how to make good hash browns. Can't speak for their lunch, but breakfast and pastries are great.
