Wow!! Tough hike, but amazing views at the top, and beautiful fall colors all along the trail in late September.

This is a great hike with an awesome view of Spearfish Canyon. I would rate this Moderate to Hard for a hike, very steep incline. I know it's a short hike, but bring water and good boots if it's been raining. Enjoy the workout !!!

Awesome steep climb up. We went up and back in less than an hour. Nice view from the top with a few benches to rest on. Walk across to spearfish falls when you’re finished.

Great hike with fabulous view at the top. Benches along the way and a sing telling you the half way point. Feels longer than 3/4 of a mile as it is straight up. Did it after a rainy morning and the trail was muddy, but worth it.

Come here in the fall as the colors are changing and you won't regret it! Views are amazing ! It's quite steep though. Great workout for the kids and us

Easy trail, though it flurried, rained, and hailed all in the same trip. The waterfall at the end was pretty. Lots of fish along the way in the creek.
